Absolutely amazing. We eat in great spots all the time but this was my favorite dinner experience out in a long time. The food is just so damn good. I mean, really, really great. The owner was super nice, awesome chef, and great server. Can't say enough good things about it. We just moved into the neighborhood and will be here often!

Wait staff was on point with recommendations. Everything we ordered was great, there was a bit of delay with our salad, this our pasta dish was served first, the salad was served later with a burger. Never less the salad was worth the wait 🥰

Such an amazing restaurant. As someone with celiac, it was great to have so many options of what to eat! My entire party of 8 was satisfied and nobody realized everything was gf - it was all so tasty! The staff was so attentive and helpful with me and three young kids. Major kudos to this spot!

General Public is inspired by trying to imagine what an upscale English pub would be if it had the heart of an American brasserie (and was open 11 to 11). It’s also going to signal a little bit of steakhouse, but not too much. And finally, it will look behind itself at the Black Hoof, which you will see reflected in James Santon’s menu here and there. In terms of vibe, the main floor is ‘everything’s gone green’, with lush comfortable banquette seating, warm wood, and barstools designed for long conversations over many cocktails. Upstairs you’ll find a completely different space that transports you to a peachy 80s dream. Somehow these two halves make perfect sense, and complement each other in a seamless conversation, where neither wins the argument, but you really do have to see it! See you soon!

Our mission? Great people helping other great people totally have a blast while enjoying amazing food. Wow, that was a mouthful. But can you blame us? We’re a restaurant. One that specializes in delicious food and great times. Our goal is to make you laugh. And depending on your hot sauce tolerance, cry.

In all seriousness, we take real pride in our food. Try our Cluckin’ Fresh Chicken Fingers, made and seasoned with fresh, never frozen chicken tenders. This isn’t run-of-the-mill pub grub. Our Band of Chefs are influenced by a wide variety of tastes and have travelled across the globe to gain inspiration.

But outside of the kitchen, we find it hard to take ourselves seriously. We have an Elvis booth. For no particular reason. Folks, that really does say it all. We’re sports fanatics, music nuts and love a good joke. If you’re into at least one of those things, we should hang out.
