We originally opened in 1937 as a full tavern on Richmond Avenue, Staten Island until Carlo Denino introduced Pizza in 1951. Since then, Denino’s Pizzeria and Tavern has been renowned for our pizza and Italian cuisine which we always prepare fresh daily. We use our family’s recipes for Chicken Parmigiana, Meatballs and past, over the years we’ve added our own version of tavern favorites like Wings, Scungilli and Hero Sandwiches.
Everything is always made from scratch, never frozen, and cooked to order.

This was a classic slice of wonderfully chaotic and loud New York, and I loved every minute of it. The 1951 original is an excellent, classic, no nonsense, NYC pizza. My only regret is not having any room left for a second one.

Great selection of New York themed craft cocktails plus live music and "chillhop" other times to create a great hip Manhattan cocktail lounge vibe. An upscale place with a touch of street attitude instead of a "stuffy" feel.

We sat at the bar and had so much fun! Robert, Janie and William were amazing as always. The sushi is always delicious, not to mention the lava cake...yum!

The building dates to 1810 and much of the original materials have been restored and overlayed with whimsical American finish detail. Siblings Matt, Jack, and Ana Abramcyk conceived of a space where you can come to eat, drink, or just talk over a glass of wine.
