They say a small kitchen makes the house big. Here at trattoria Abruzzo we take pride in our small kitchen and our big heart, where everything is made from scratch and with love.

Owner Paola Laccetti left Italy and moved to Naples FL in July 2012. She had a vision, which turned into Trattoria Abruzzo. Just as her grandmother and mother had taught her, food is an art, and tastes better if made heartfelt.

All our pastas are made by hand daily and all our sauces are patiently slow cooked for hours each morning. Every dish is made by the order and often adjusted for our customers preference. All our ingredients are chosen based on freshness and quality.

We named our business Casa Cotzelli because our desire is for all of our guests to feel like they have joined us at home to share a meal with us. At Casa Cotzelli we’re in the business of creating smiles, memories, and moments of joy.

Our owners both grew up in Italy, Gabriele in Milan and Filippo in Florence, so naturally we settled in Naples. We bring our years of culinary experience from growing up in Italian households where food was how our families share love, as well as over 20 years in the restaurant industry in America. Now we have achieved our ultimate goal, opening our own restaurant to serve our neighbors with the finest local ingredients prepared with care and following family recipes from generations past.

A true Italian restaurant! I ordered the Ravioli of the day Ricotta with spinach and it melted in my mouth… my husband a Carpaccio delicious! The ambience and service were excellent! Prices very reasonable for the quality of food.

First time for my wife and me. It's our new 3 places to eat in Naples. They offer two early dining choices......one for $30; one for $40 for more choices. Salad, entree, tiramisu dessert. Food is prepared from scratch and is outstanding. Service is impeccable, and ambiance decor makes you feel like you are in Tuscany. There is also a full menu and wine list, and food choices are reasonable.

We had a perfect evening at The Club Room! Kristy was an excellent server! The bruschetta with the burratta is generous and enough for a table of four to share… so fresh and delicious! The house salad was also great and easily shareable for two people. The snapper preparation is delicious! The garganelli with chicken was delicious. Music started around 8:00 and added a nice touch to the evening! Tiramisu was a perfect portion to share! Unfortunately, they are now closed until next year. Looking forward to going back again when they open for season next year! Loved it!!!!
