So many reasons to go to Oyamel. Only Jose Andres can main high standards YEAR after YEAR …. In fact today’s lunch was one of the best meals I have ever had at Oyamel. I highly recommend the chicken tamale The black beans are odd but yummy, maybe skip the rice if you are on a diet 😎😂🤷🏽

The food was amazing def a 10/10 experience. Our waiter was good! However, he made a few mistakes and tried to make up excuses. For example, my boyfriend ordered steak and shrimp quesadillas, they gave him chicken and shrimp then tried to say he never ordered steak. Additionally, we came during happy hour and he still charged us full price for our drinks and said that th check was printed after happy hour (happy hour is 3-7, our check was printed at 6:30) other than those things I would definitely go again.

This was our fifth visit to the restaurant. We live about 1 1/2 away but anytime we're remotely close, we make a reservation or stop in. I'm obsessed with the restaurant, their food, and the staff. I try to get something different every time.

The food was tasty and fresh and the service was satisfactory but the margarita wasn’t the best because it was a little watery. Also the music was turned up kind of loud which made it difficult to hear my date. Overall I would go back to try the food again.
