What a wonderful surprise! We had not been in years, and we are happy we decided to return. Our server Rodney was very knowledgeable and attentive. The food was delicious with many interesting flavors and combinations. Only downside was the noise level was a little high as we were seated near the bar. But we will return!

From start to finish, top tier performance by Chef and the entire Staff! This was our second time at PF and we were blown away by the use of local ingredients, sourced fresh water fish and the wine pairing was perfect. Our waiter, John was knowledgeable, enjoyable and truly kind. We enjoyed meeting most of the Staff and had the pleasure of speaking with Chef, who in and of himself was great! Also, I am dairy free and they were so accommodating, I am truly grateful and impressed! We loved every minute of this experience (not to mention the view as the sun is setting). And it’s truly that, an experience!

We did the Octoberfest menu and wow, it was a lot of food. And the beer cheese was REALLY GOOD. They should offer that cheese year round. We had never done the grilling before, but it was fun, and the bratwurst, summer sausage, and pretzel bread were all delicious. It was a very nice evening. We also enjoyed the new seasonal wine/peach/ginger drink - that should be added full time as well.

Like its predecessors, located in New York City and DC, Proper 21K serves contemporary American cuisine. My friend and I came here for brunch and we were definitely impressed. The decor and ambiance were gorgeous. The service was cute and the staff was very friendly. The food was delicious, but the prices were quite steep. The wings were near $20 with no fries or anything. My friend ordered the shrimp and grits, but the sauce/gravy was too much. I got the tres leches French toast, which came with bacon, but the bacon fat hardened on the bacon, so it was like grease just sitting on the bacon. Overall, everything was great, but the little things made it that it could’ve been a better experience. We had a great time and will be back. If you’ve ever wanted to try this place, I would recommend it.
