SABOR Restaurant provides a rustic yet elegant atmosphere and a menu rich in European tradition—Portuguese, Spanish, French & Italian—in the heart of Downtown and the ICE District.

OceanWise certified, we offer Edmonton’s best, most-sustainable seafood menu as well as a meat & vegetarian options.

Professional staff, a trim but superlative wine list, hand-crafted cocktails, and SABOR’s menu & atmosphere make it the perfect spot—be it in evening wear before the opera, a suit before the big meeting, or in jeans hanging out with friends.

Made in house cakes are available upon request. Requests must be made 48 hours in advance, and can only be made via phone (780-757-1114). We do not allow outside cakes to be brought into the restaurant.

BODEGA Tapas Bar is a casual setting seated on a walk-in basis only. A great stop before or after a movie or show at one of the nearby theaters, BODEGA serves authentic tapas, our signature Sangria, and superb wine & cocktails.

    It was a wonderful experience, a pre-dinner for us. We expect similar dining in the coming weeks as we will be traveling to Las Vegas. Service was slow but expected as it was a full dining room. Food was exquisite and fulfilling.

    HAD A FANTASTIC ANNIVERSARY DINNER FOOD WAS PERFECT OUR SERVER, KIM, WAS BRILLIANT ASKED HER TO PAIR EACH COURSE WITH WINE FOR US AND WE WERE VERY HAPPY WITH THE WAY THE PAIRINGS COMPLEMENTED THE FOOD. SHE WAS ALWAYS ON TOP OF THINGS, THE CONSUMMATE PROFESSIONAL. BAR IS ALWAYS SET HIGH AND ACHIEVED BY EVERYONE THERE. GO AND ENJOY THIS GEM FOR YOURSELF

    The food was wonderful but it would have been nice if there was some recognition of the fact that we were celebrating a special event, which was stated in our reservation, and if we didn’t end up waiting almost two hours for our main courses. A party of four should not take two hours to wait for seafood, unless you were actually catching the fish at the time. Not sure if this was a server problem, a kitchen problem, or an expo problem but it seems to be a problem. Especially obvious when we were pretty much in the center of the restaurant. That said, the food was wonderful.

    We celebrated my birthday at Sabor. Our Server was attentive but not intrusive. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. We had leftovers enough for the next day. We love the atmosphere.

    The noise level was so great that it was very difficult to carry on a conversation with the person sitting with you. Why the drum of “music” that persisted through the noise and did a great deal to increase the volume of all others trying to converse with their table mates even exists is beyond my understanding.

    Lino outdid himself! Took a grouo of friends out and instead of ordering from the outstanding Sabor menu Lino offered to FEED US which means a great offering of Sabor favorites with the Chef putting his spin on some others. Our guests were so happy we suggested Sabor, which is our favorite place to dine in Edmonton. Left full and content. Wish we too pictures.

    Celebrated our anniversary. No acknowledgment of that from our reservation notes. Was a busy night with many large tables. Our service felt impersonal. Food was good- we ordered the seafood family dinner for two. Desert trio was the best.

    Had a great time. Food is simply delectable, everything tasted awesome. Just the pon con Chorizo was a tab bit burnt on one end but still didn't dampen the experience. Service was excellent. Loved it, will definitely go back and will recommend

    We tried this restaurant for the first time to celebrate our daughter's Convocation from the University of Alberta. Everything was pretty much perfect from start to finish... drinks, food, atmosphere, service. All very good. Great choice!

    Exceptional Service. Delicious & beautifully presented food. Love the interior decor & ambience. Only thing to note is if you’re dining later than 10pm on a Friday night, you may hear the music & feel vibrations from the dance club underneath. It didn’t really phase us but perhaps something to consider for other couples/diners

    One of our favourite restaurants that we’ve been frequenting for years. Unfortunately last night was quite the disappointment. We waited over 1.5 hours for our food and everything was extremely over seasoned. Our server Corey was fantastic - hoping this was just a one-off.

    I took my girlfriend out for her birthday dinner and it was fantastic! The service was amazing by our server Matt, he answered all of our questions and was very attentive. Our food came out fast, was a great experience!

    Beautiful Spot. The food was excellent. Our waiter was knowledgeable, helpful made recommendations, he was courteous and attentive. Definitely would come back next time we are in Edmonton.

    We had a wonderful dinner to celebrate our daughters graduation. Seafood Paella was amazing as usual and we tried the Portuguese crème brûlée and port cherry cheesecake. Both were incredible. Will need to come back to try more tapas and wine.

    Our go-to restaurant for a night out of town, date nights, celebrations, etc. The seafood is amazing - always prepared and cooked properly. There is a good selection of food, even for the none seafood lover. But the seafood is always a must at this restaurant. Service is always top notch.
