Grandlake kitchen is an extremely popular restaurant in our area. I had not been there since before Covid, but I still had their savory French toast in my memory. I was not disappointed, it was absolutely delicious! It sounded very odd to my companion, thick- sliced crispy -cooked bread in some kind of savory batter, served with sautéed mushrooms, greens, and slices of Parmesan cheese and topped with two poached eggs. Every bit as wonderful as I had remembered!
