   Food choices minimal at best. For such a beautiful setting the food did not match up. I get that the pandemic has hit restaurants hard but don’t charge me $24 for a $5 burger.

   Dinner was pretty good. Low stars because a split entree means we wanted it split not on 1 plate. Had to ask for 2nd plate. No bread, crackers or anything offered pre meal. Very basic food/high price. Nice view, but very limited menu to choose from. No specials of any type. Strange for such a large venue.

    We had reservations on Mother's Day at 1:45 on the patio. When we arrived, my husband went inside to get the hostess since there was nobody on the patio seating anyone. When they finally came out they took us to the only table that had no tablecloth and no silverware. It had nothing. We sat there for 25 minutes trying to get someone to bring us a tablecloth and silverware, and they kept saying they'd be right back and nobody ever came back. We then overheard them saying they couldn't find anymore tablecloths!! Are you kidding me? It then started sprinkling and we kept asking if we could move to a table that another couple vacated, under the covered area, since we still had no tablecloth or silverware. In all this time, not ONE server came up to us to offer us a drink or to see if they could resolve the issue. My husband went to the bar himself to get us drinks and again asked those inside if we could be moved and/or get some silverware. After asking multiple people, over and over, we finally got someone to move us to the vacated table. We then went inside and got our food from the buffet, which by now, had been sitting there for quite sometime, since we had a late reservation, which went even later given the wait we had, so it was barely warm. They had heating lamps at every table outside, but only one table had theirs turned on and it was a chilly day. They struggled getting ours to light up and by the time they finally did we were nearly done eating. In all the time we were there we served ourselves. We were finally able to get a busboy to bring us water for our table after asking multiple people multiple times. This was supposed to be a lovely day, having brunch with my mom, for Mother's Day, and if it weren't for the ocean view, I would have nothing good to say about our experience. For the exuberant prices they charged it was a complete letdown. You'd think they would have been better prepared given it was Mother's Day. They were woefully lacking!!

    We attended a Sunday brunch buffet. Lots of choices of delicious items including meat and seafood entrees. It was very busy, but service was good and it was an enjoyable meal.

    The food was mediocre at best and cold (buffet style). The service was terrible and we were forced to pay a 20% gratuity (no one brought us water). This was an $85 per person buffet. Will not be back.

    The outdoor seating view is beautiful. The service was good. The set price menu for Sunday Brunch is ridiculous for what they offer. I have never been to a restaurant with such limited options for a brunch. And the pastries were absolutely horrible.

    Sanderlings has a lovely patio with an ocean view, and great service, but it is WAY overpriced and the food is WAY underwhelming. We paid $120 (with tip) for brunch for 2 - one order of chicken and waffles and one order of chiliquillas. Seriously? $120 for pancake mix and corn chips? Our Bloody Mary’s wee $16.50 each. I don’t mind paying for ambiance and good food, but this wasn’t worth it.

    I love Seascape but I find it sad that there the dining room tables are now not comfortable as far as the chairs they are too low to sit by the table It took us changing 4 times before we could sit where you can see the top of the table The furniture is beautiful but not very inviting for lunch The service was not up to par We helped ourselves to napkins and took the died flowers away

    We went for Easter Sunday thinking it would be a nice celebratory dinner. We made reservations to make sure we had a table. When we go there we apparently did not need reservations. There were 4 other families at best. We checked in and got sat In a corner table and waited for about 15 minutes for anyone to wait on us and finally had to ask. They had no idea who was supposed to be our server. So one lady acted as our server. Don’t think she ever waited before. She was terrible. 3 menus for a a table of 4. No drink order. I order a Pinot Noir to drink. I got white wine instead. When I told he she had no clue. Long story short worst service I have ever had. I never write reviews but felt the need to for this one. It even took us 15 minutes to find someone to get our check so we could leave. Horrible experience.

    We have been going to Easter brunch at Sanderlings for about 5 years. This year the Easter brunch was back after Covid and left a lot to be desired. My husband asked for an eggs benedict without the ham since he's vegetarian which has been accommodated in previous years. The wait staff said they would ask the kitchen, then came back and said the kitchen said no. My husband was upset because it was a simple ask that should have easily been accommodated. The wait staff finally came back with two non-meat benedicts. The water and drinks took about 20 minutes to come out after being seated. Server took about 10 minutes to first visit our table after being seated. We noticed the busing staff was sloppy as were the support servers. Staff were shouting at one another across the restaurant and spilling water on tables and on the floor while pouring from plastic pitchers and bringing glasses directly from the dishwasher racks to our table. The quality and standard of service and food quality was not what we have experienced in years past and certainly not worth the $70 pp price tag. The environment needs to be more attentive, relaxed, refined and with better training for staff. I can understand a lack of service staff available but this was an all time low. The bunny arrangement outside brightened our family's day but didn't make up for the service and food. Unfortunately, we are sharing our experience with local friends and will likely head to Chaminade next year.

    We went for the Easter Buffet and we’re extremely disappointed. The flavor of the food was very good, however everything was cold to barely warm. Went back up after they brought out a new Eggs Benedict and potatoes and still barely warm. Definitely not worth the price for cold food.

    We ate at Sanderling's for Easter Brunch. We reserved an indoor table, but were seated outdoors. This wouldn't be an issue if it weren't cold outside and several patio heaters were not working. Other than that, the food was delicious and the activities were enjoyable for the families in attendance.

    We ate at Sanderlings for the price-fixe Easter brunch with our nanny, 2 kids (aged 3 and 11) and my husband and I. It exceeded all of our expectations. The food was excellent, the activities were a ton of fun for both kids, and we got pictures taken as a family! The kids did not want to leave. We will be back next year with a larger group! I have eaten here many times on non-holidays and our experience is always great. The food is consistently good, they have my absolute favorite beer (Alvarado St Brewery Mai Tai IPA), and the views cannot be matched. Just bring a jacket as it does tend to get chilly!

    We had a gift certificate and it was our first time eating at Sanderlings. We sat inside near a window and watched deer run across the lawn and the sunset which was amazing. Our server, Laura was so sweet and helpful and the food was delicious. I had the salmon which was cooked perfectly, my husband had the fish and chips. There were three huge pieces of fish. We also ordered the Caesar salad which was delicious. We had a wonderful time, the noise level was just fine and we were able to talk throughout dinner. Amazing wine and liquor list. We will definitely be going back.

    Location is gorgeous, panoramic views of ocean, perfect to watch sunset! The building is clearly in need of modernizing and redecorating, furnishings and design look dated. Food was good quality, very decent, but not unique or memorable.

    The lettuce in the salad was old and slimy, very disappointing. Also i made a note in reservation it was a Birthday and wanted a Bday dessert(which i would happily pay for) hopefully with candle and we go no acknowledment of a Birthday. Boo

    Small get together with visiting family stay on property for a late lunch. Jose, Laura and the really sweet young woman who made sure our dogs had plenty of water were all great. And the entire support staff as well. Beautiful view, great service and yummy food of the green salad, poke and the charcuterie platter to share. We’ll be back!
