My first visit and will not be the last. Food was delicious and plated beautifully. Atmosphere was cozy and quiet on a rainy Friday evening. Service was impeccable.
Everything was great !
Great location in the winter. Good views of the Christmas lights in Klyde Waren Park. Not enough valets. Long wait to drop off and retrieve car. Food was fine, service was quick and staff was great.
I'm always delighted that the menu offers new things each time we come. My biggest problem is deciding what to choose. On this visit we had lemon sole and beef short ribs. Both were excellent. The service is great, and the staff is mindful that we have a deadline to go to the symphony.
The atmosphere at Savor has always been phenomenal. Love to see the Park through all the windows. Our food was amazing. Highly recommend the Shrimp & Scallop Spinach Salad at lunch.
Based on the rating for the restaurant our party of 4 was very disappointed. Everything was very salty and one diner even sent the radicchio salad back in exchange for the cauliflower salad as it was inedible. The pizzas were both partially burnt on the bottom. The server was inattentive although the restaurant was not that busy and he only had 2 occupied tables in his section. We had to flag him down to exchange the salad, he never checked in to see how the food was, and after waiting for 5 minutes with the credit card on the table we had to again flag him down for the check.
Great night out in Dallas before the Mav's game. We had 5 people in out group all had different entrees. Everyone loved what I ordered. The service was great and the view was perfect.
All good except food and bloody mary's were average or below. The brunch menu was rather odd with basically a sweet and a standard entre. We were served our brunch too fast.
Exceptionally good food this time.
Service was slow but the food was great. We had to run to make our show at the Meyerson, when we thought an hour and a half reservation would be plenty of time.
Indicated in our reservation that we had a special occasion, but got no special seating or recognition. Service was barely adequate. Not told about specials and never asked about dessert. Ambience was dull and the restaurant a little bit dirty. Two of our four entrées were served raw and had to be returned. Didn’t want to complain at the time because we had special guests in our company. Pretty much just wanted to leave.
Outstanding service! Great Food and ambiance..
Amazin! Second time going and the experience keeps getting better and better. First time with friends and second time with a date.
Great early dinner before the theatre
Lively atmosphere on New Years Eve. Food was incredible, good center of the plate presentation. Flavorful and delicious. The lobster puff were a big hit at our table.
Food was mediocre at best. Service not much better. Atmosphere was poor. Pretty disappointing for NYE. Not going back.
Arrived for my NYE reservation and was pleasantly greeted. My waistress was attentive & asked if we needed to leave by a certain time, very considerate gesture. Food was AMAZING. Will recommend and return here.
Very modern atmosphere almost like a rest stop with open glass and stainless steel. Seating in bar was comfortable and the food and drinks were perfect. Friendly bartenders too.
One of my favorite places to go for a evening out and always save room for dessert - excellent
Abbey, our server was very friendly and welcoming. My colleague had a salad with chicken added which he said was good. I had a hamburger which was huge, a size that I did not expect. However, it was good. I brought three quarters of it home. I asked for a side salad instead of the fries. It was good, but could have been better with some tomatoes. It was my first time at Savor. I plan to return when another event takes me to that area.
The food was the definition of “ok”, the drinks were great, as was the service and environment. Go for a nice drink before or after dinner, but don’t waste money on the food
This was our first visit to Savor and we will be back. We sampled three of their appetizers: crab dip, flatbread, & deviled eggs. All three were delicious!!! The service was excellent too!!!
Savor is now established itself as our favorite. This glass enclosed restaurant was especially beautiful with the holiday lights on all sides. Savor is wonderful in good weather too, dining outside.
With many empty tables they sat us in a walkway right by the kitchen - even though reservations were made way in advance, therefore we didn’t get the ambiance that was expected.
The food was mediocre and service was slow although there were very few people in the area we were sitting. Happy hour prices were good but the menu was completely different that what was listed on the website. There are too many other great places in Dallas to make a second visit here.
Freund from UK on a visit, and it was a great experience!
Had a nice Christmas Eve Dinner, the food was very good. Our only issue is the server did not ask how my daughter wanted her prime rib (rare), and when we flagged our server down and let her know, she said no issues in doing that. The meat came medium well, and my daughter didn't want to hold up us enjoying our meals. You would think the server would catch that and correct it before bringing the food to the table.
Our server took drink orders and came back quite a while later because she wasn’t sure what my husband requested, then returned with the wrong drink. Service all night was slow and bathrooms were dirty. Food remains good, but service unimpressive. Usually not the case, so I hope it was an anomaly.
The food was only fair. The service was good, and the setting is lovely. Fairly noisy.
Food was good, for the most part. Service was not good at all.
Our dinner evening was excellent from the moment we walked in the door. The hostess and server were extremely accommodating to our party &. Our server, Tara Lynn was outstanding! She took such good care of from start to finish. Overall, the evening was wonderful!
Lunch w/ the fam before a holiday play at Dallas Theatre (couple blocks away). Nice, winter day so lots of people at the park. Not a bad seat in the house. Food very good. Solid menu and great location of course. Would highly recommend for any occasion.
Other than our waitress, all our servers, hostesses etc were surly. The food is mediocre at best. The deviled eggs appetizer came out in 3 min indicating that it was premise and certainly tasted like it. The food is expensive and generic so I’m not sure why the high price. The drinks and atmosphere are excellent especially during the holidays. I would not recommend it for anything beyond a drink. To top it all off, they reported me to open table as a no show even though it was not a particularly busy night at all on a Friday. Perhaps the terrible food has driven the customers away......
What a find - in the heart of the city. The view of Downtown Dallas is spectacular and is a compliment to the creative brunch/lunch menu. We recommend the fried chicken salad, the club sandwich, the pastrami sandwich and calamari and asparagus appetizer! Our waiter Von was exceptional!
We went for a pre-theater meal. Food and service was good, not fine dining although close to fine dining prices. The menu was a bit boring - sort of like a nice hotel, but not in a hotel. Great option for pre-theatre dining. Interesting location. Valet parking was fast and easy. My 9 yo liked the kids menu. Wish they would have had a soup on the starter menu
Delightful lunch- our meal was spectacular and the staff was very attentive. My scallops were perfectly cooked. Also, I love the proximity to Klyde Warren and the expanse of glass that brings the outdoor ambiance inside.
I've eaten here a few times, I definitely prefer the dinner menu over brunch. The short rib mac and cheese is VERY good!
Food was good, but the breakfast potatoes were very salty
Out of town guests
I secured 7:15pm reservations (for 2) well in advance, though we were not sat until 7:30pm - not a big deal, but it wasn't a great look for my Christmas dinner date. It took a while to be greeted, though once we were, it should be noted our server was very friendly. We ordered calamari ($16), which was enjoyable. My guest enjoyed the salmon special (~$35), while I ordered a Cesar salad ($9). I asked our server if it was possible to get a little bit of steak on it as it was a meatless salad. The server ensured me it would be no problem, though didn't give me a heads up that they charge for the full steak filet (~$45) for some slices of steak on top [to be fair there was a healthy portion of steak given, though it was not my intention to have a ~$45 steak dinner put on top of a $9 salad]. Overall, I'd say it is a cool environment with the park close by, but I would be hesitant to eat there again after my experience.
