Seasons 52 - Burlington
We made a reservation for 8:45pm (the last one of the night) and arrived on time. We we’re quickly seated and ordered a glass of wine and an iced tea. The waitress told us last call already happened but she would see what she could do. She was able to get us the wine. Great! We quickly ordered our food and a chef brought us our appetizers. One of them was wrong. No big deal. Then a manager brought us our meals. Very nice! After a long wait for our waitress (who disappeared for about 15 minutes), my son asked for another iced tea. The waitress told us ‘Since we closed a half hour ago, I can’t get you one.’ (By this time it was 9:30pm.) Also, the employees were mopping the floors of the bar area and moving all of the bar stools so they could vacuum. It just seemed like we were overstaying our welcome. A little unnerving.
I guess we are wondering why they accept reservations for dinner at 8:45pm, if they close and start cleaning up right at 9pm. We felt like we were there after hours.
The restaurant was very nice and we liked the atmosphere. The food was wonderful, even the wrong appetizer that they brought us. The chef and manager bringing our food was also a nice touch.
We would definitely come back here, just not anywhere near closing time.
I visited Seasons 52 in Burlington twice in the last 2 months. All was very good, however, I have one comment. On both occasions, my party seemed to be rushed asking for our dinner orders only a few minutes after the appetizers were served. My guess would be to have patrons sit with appetizers about 20 minutes or so before being approached for the dinner order.
Bday and anniversary
Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. Only negative comment would be a very extended delay in serving one cocktail to a person in our party. All other drinks were served together except this one drink. We had to ask more than once about the missing drink. The waitress did sincerely apologize and did not charge the drink to the bill. Correct thing to do.
SUPERB EXPERIENCE FROM FOOD, TO WAITSTAFF!!! it is a little expensive but well worth the price for a great dinner. one of the few places around that serves Chilean Sea Bass. was perfect. The portion sizes are just right. we ordered 2 different types of flat breads, spinach dio, and crab cake for apps. my father ordered the lamb, my wife the salmon, and i the sea bass. the deserts are quite small, but tastey. The perfect end to a meal wirhout a bloated sugar high. The variety of creative cuisine is so far beyond the average restaurant.
Tom, our server, was the best or as good as the best i have ever had enthisiastic about our meals and our experience at the restaurant.
We will go hack again!
For a Wednesday night it was extremely busy. The kitchen was pushing out food and all we saw was it pile up..literally. They had plates stacked of cooked food on top of one of other. The runners stood around dazed and confused...probably overwhelmed with the kitchen being on top of things. My son ordered a steak and we didn’t find out until at least 10 minutes later that they ran out. Our waitress Kim was great otherwise.
Always great 😀
We had a wonderful time. Our waitress was so wonderful and helpful. Will go again soon.
Very nice atmosphere, very good service and our meals were prepared very well.
Everything was excellent as usual. Highly recommend to everyone. We have been here numerous times.
We had a quick business dinner and it was just good. Nothing to complain about. Just a good place to be, specially if it’s a nice summer evening
The filet, sides and dessert was outstanding. The noise level was high. The table we were seated at was not stable. Our server was very good.
Father’s day! The restaurant was packed. My salmon- the special, was over cooked. Hubby asked for butter for his veg and received a bowl of butter that had sesame seeds in it. Waiter apologized, manager offered replacement but we were all finished eating. They kindly deducted hubby’s meal. Despite this, we enjoyed the meal overall.
We waited for 50 minutes for our food to arrive. Very disappointed!
We have been going to this restaurant since it opened. Sadly, the ambiance was really lacking. Things were somewhat different.
Went for Fathers Day. Place was very busy. Food came out cold.
Service was outstanding - the server gave us highly customized service, and was very attentive, but not in the least bit too much ! His knowledge of the menu and the wines was much greater than I would expect for a restaurant in the 'burbs. Food was very good, high quality and service was fast (maybe a little too fast - would have like a bit more time to enjoy each course). Main restaurant seemed noisy as we were walking through, but the side room we were seated in was perfect.
This was my first visit to Seasons 52 and won't be my last! I have heard all good things from friends and finally decided to visit myself and very happy with my dining experience. The service was awesome, the food was tasty, the atmosphere was pleasant...I will be going back soon!
Great as always. Will be back soon! Reviewed so many times in the past am running out of comments.
Good vegetarian options and excellent but overworked wait staff.
Our server went above and beyond to celebrate my friend’s birthday
Great food! It may be picky, but a restaurant of this caliber should have pepper grinders and cloth tablecloths. Also, we always expect a hefty mark-up on wine. But 400% is crazy! 200-300% is normal Jessica gave surgery service. Definitely will go back so I hope they have pepper grinders by then. If not at the table, better yet have the server carry one!
Excellent food, very attentive server, reasonably priced.
I enjoy the atmosphere, food and service every time. All the waitstaff is exceptional. It’s the kind of place you can visit for any occasion and not be disappointed. It’s also a good value which is most important.
Enjoyed the food. Exceptional service from our waitress. We had kids with us and she was very accommodating
Consistently delicious. Tonight had soup, pea with kale. As a fan of pea soup, this was thinner than I am used to, but absolutely tasty. Sea scallops with goat cheese risotto. Save room for dessert!
Restaurant was great in holding our reservation due to heavy traffic caused by an accident. We ordered the special - wild salmon- and it was good but over cooked. The portion size was a bit small but the roasted veggies made up for it. The server was somewhat attentive although we were not needy.
All in all, I’ve had a better meal and a better experience at past visits to Seasons 52. I hope I’m not disappointed the next time I visit.
We really enjoy the Seasons 52 in Burlington. Great food, great service, and nice atmosphere. It would be nice if they offered bread for the table before the meal.
The menu has not been changed in quite a while. And no bread now? Wow. You guys need competition and it is coming!
I absolutely LOVE Seasons 52 in Burlington. Each member on staff from the moment you arrive are efficient as well as pleasant while interacting. As a frequent visitor of Seasons 52 I enjoy the seasonal changes to the menu. But trust me regardless of the time of year the menu is consistently awesome! One of my personal favorite appetizers is the Lobster Mozzarella Flatbread, and their unique specials never disappoint. Last but not least it’s the type of restaurant where the atmosphere is actually conducive to conversation! Check it out you won’t be disappointed.
We had a great dinner and were given a glass of champagne and a desert to celebrate our anniversary I listed on the reservation. Glad to see they paid attention to that. Both the Filet Mignon and the Rainbow Trout were amazing. We also enjoyed the artichoke appetizer as well. An excellent dinner all around and would return the next time we don't have the kids with us.
I have dined at Season’s 52 many times...the service and the food are always wonderful. My only negative take away is the noise level. It is sometimes difficult to have a conversation due to the noise level in the restaurant. My most recent visit was Burlington and our guests also commented on the noise level.
But the food and service were great!
Steak was cooked perfectly
Food was not prepared as well or as nearly high quality as in previous visits. Grilled artichoke was good but the hummus it came with (and a few celery stalks was ordinary. Pork tenderloin dish was decent but apart from a singularly strong spice (? Cumin) it was not that flavorful or special - and the cauliflower looked and tasted like not freshly prepared (note I had ordered this dish in past visit last year and much better). my friend for the salmon which looked ok but I didn’t try it. Desserts cups were good. Server was nice and let us take our time during meal. I used to love Seasons for the freshly prepared, tasty but still healthy food but not sure going to rush back.
Everything was very average
Our waitress was Jacolyn & she was phenomenal!!! Good was great, atmosphere also great. Would return to this restaurant in a heartbeat.
Always a great experience. This time it was my daughter HS graduation. Great food , great wine, fine service... I told my wife... we need to come here more often
Had a table of 11 people. The server was very friendly and attentive. Food is a seasonal menu and was fantastic
Beautiful atmosphere. Great service and delicious food!
Excellent food, good service, but too noisy
