The chef at the end of the line made our experience absolutely amazing. The night started a little slow but picked up and was one of the best evenings out in a very long time. Thank you very much. We will be back !! More

Steak | Bellevue, Eastside

John Howie is one of our favorite places for celebrating any special milestones. The food is always impeccable. The food can't be found anywhere else. There are a few signature items that we order every time, because without fail, they're amazing! But the service is what ultimately puts John Howie over any competitor. The atmosphere doesn't feel too "snooty", but you also are aware that you're in a nice dining establishment. Even if you're not the type of person that can afford to eat there on a regular basis, you're always made to feel welcome. The attention to detail in service--from the waiter's knowledge & attentiveness, to the pace of the meal, and the politeness from all staff, John Howie is just special. We have never had a bad experience, and there is a reason why we continue to come back year after year to celebrate our life's biggest moments. Thank you for giving us a place that feels special enough for us to do so. More

Great food! My daughter and I had a great lunch. Her Filet Mignon done to perfection and really tasty, although I order chicken in a steakhouse, it was delicious. Service was ok. The venue is convenient as there is plenty of parking, which is hard to find something that convenient in Seattle. More

I love this place! My wife and I have dined here twice, a year apart. Both times we were served by Andrea, and she remembered us! That was a great personal touch to our experience. Best fish and chips and calamari I’ve ever had in my life. Service was prompt and welcoming, food was excellent, the atmosphere was clean and ambient, and we will definitely be back! More

Farm-to-table | Leavenworth, East of Seattle

We received a gift certificate to Mana from our family. We had a lovely evening experiencing an array of amazing food, wine and elixers. I did the wine pairing and my husband did the elixer/tonic pairing. We enjoyed both. The food presentation and preperation were amazing. I was a bit chilly sitting next to the window but they did offer to turn up the heat when they saw I had my coat over my shoulders. As people consumed alcohol it got a bit loud in the room. The lighting, glassware and plateware are unique and add to the dining experience. It is pricey but for a once in a lifetime experience it is worth it. Most people looked like they were in their late 20's to early 40's. My husband and I were the oldest people in the room and I am in my early 50's. It is a three hour event so plan accordingly and don't rush it. More

Salumi Artisan Cured Meats
Salumi Artisan Cured Meats
Deli | Pioneer Square, Seattle

Our greatest joy is creating good food to be shared from our family to yours. We handcraft our products, individually, with simple recipes and the best quality ingredients. We are inspired by bold, delicious, inventive flavors. We never stop exploring. Made for people who are hungry like us, sitting around a table with friends or outside grabbing a snack. First established in 1999 by Armandino and Marilyn, Salumi has grown from a small neighborhood deli to a well-known stop on the Seattle culinary scene. Today, Martinique, Clara, Gina and Brian continue the Salumi tradition of bringing fun, high quality, handcrafted cured meats and salamis to our family, friends and customers. After 20 years we've outgrown our current space and need to make room for production. Our handcrafted salami and cured meats will still be made at 309 3rd Ave South, but our deli has moved two blocks away in the heart of Seattle's historic Pioneer Square district.More

Discover Seattle

The iconic city tucked inside the Pacific northwest coast does see a lot of rain, but when the sun shines on Seattle, it dazzles. Don’t miss the chance to dine at one of the many waterfront restaurants serving oysters and Pacific-caught seafood. Take a stroll downtown and wander in and out of bookshops and bakeries. Arguably the birthplace of American coffee culture, there’s hardly a better place to enjoy leisurely lattes accompanied by hours of computing and the occasional pen and paper sketch.
