Simon Pearce Restaurant
Fantastic dinner! Service and food were superb. Only minor issue was I requested a table by the window but that was not granted. Maybe it was because I booked a same day reservation?
Amazing food. It was really fun to watch the glass blowing.
This was our 10th visit. The setting is a glass blowing factory on a waterfall. Experience includes tour of attached sales room and glass blowing area. Food is top quality and carefully designed and wait staff well trained and very friendly. Overall experience is worth traveling for.
Tuna was excellent! Of courses, after dinner shopping always fun too.
We were most pleased with the service, food, ambiance and overall feeling if the restaurant at Simon Pierce this past weekend. It was not our first visit and will not be our last. This was a most enjoyable time. Thank you for the experience.
Everything was fantastic!!
The table setting is amazing and the view of the waterfall below the restaurant really sets the dining experience. The service is friendly and attentive. The food is delicious. The crusty bread and butter are a perfect compliment to the cheddar soup starter. The halibut was cooked perfectly and was paired with a peppercorn sauce that made the dish complete. The side of roasted vegetables dipped in the peppercorn sauce enhanced the entire meal. I wish I had room for desert, but the main meal was the perfect amount.
My boyfriend and I went during a short Vermont getaway. Simon Pearce totally exceeded expectations. The location was beautiful, restaurant cozy and rustic, service was impeccable and food knocked it out of the park. Each app and entree had such different and unique flavor combinations but still seemed so cohesive. Drinks and dessert were great too. Would definitely recommend it and will be going back next time I’m in VT.
Love Simon Pearce, Great Food, Great service and it sparkles all over!
Another wonderful dining experience. We were seated in not the most quiet section of the restaurant but were still able to have a romantic dinner. The food was excellent as was the service.
The service for our party of 6 was excellent, the food was also very good as was the ambiance. Would do again. Last thought, the vegan options for the vegan in our group were very good and much enjoyed by all.
Excellent service and innovative ingredient combos. Something for everyone. Totally worth the money. One of the best dining experiences that I've had in the Upper Valley.
best meal of our Vermont trip. We stayed in Woodstock and ate here one night
Great meal and great atmosphere! It's fun to browse the store before leaving.
this is one of favorite restaurants- great food and service. It never disappoints.
Food was delicious but mostly room temperature. Not very remarkable beyond that but Open Table requires 50 words to post a review.
Our waitress was amazing! So kind! The food was delicious but a tiny bit pricy! I wouldn’t expect a Cod plate to be 30$, but it was worth it! Definitely recommend!
Excellent food. Excellent service. Overall just a great meal and experience.
We had a lovely dinner, attention to detail was perfect, food was fantastic! So happy we decided to dine here during our stay in Vermont. The scallop appetizer and venison were home runs. Thank you for a great evening.
I am a return visitor; brought a friend for her first time. Loved it! So much fun to see the glass blowing in action, and the store is simply beautiful. We were seated, as requested, at the window, and could see the water and ice and Christmas lights across the way. Our dinner (crispy duck) was delicious and of course we had to have the wonderful Vermont cheddar soup. We are from San Diego, but I will definitely be back!
Always a wonderful experience! Simon Pearce is one restaurant that truly is an experience because of the beautiful setting, the stunning hand blown glassware, and the amazing food!
Outstanding food and service, as always.
Wonderful staff--one that actually enjoys working here. Great food and combined with the glass blowing and retail store, makes this a destination.
I love this place. Just the location alone will take your breath away. The store has everything made by Simon Pearce available for purchase. Be prepared to pay top dollar for these beauties. You can even go down below and watch the glass being hand blown anytime the store / restaurant is open. The bar was extremely relaxing and the restaurant was spectacular. If you wish a window view, and I highly recommend, reserve for the 5:30 seating so they will be available. The food is excellent and the prices are very reasonable. One more recommendation, if you visit the restaurant during the winter, be sure to go before nightfall to truly take in the location and the vistas of where this place is located. you will glad you did.
Our dinner was one of the best I've had and my husband agrees. Terrific service and great atmosphere. We had the best table in the corner overlooking the falls. Great view even at night.
I've been to SP for a first date and on a Four Generations Family Dinner out. It's great for both. Get there 15 to 30 minutes early to watch the glass blowing in the factory downstairs and then enjoy a great dinner and dessert. The Gluten Free bread was as good as my bread. My only reservation in recommending SP is the crowds I'll have to fight some day.
It was another off night (a Wednesday) for the kitchen at Simon Pearce. The Green Salad was fine but nothing more. The Green Salad with White Anchovy was a big disappointment: one lonely and tasteless white anchovy, less than crisp lettuce with a nebulous dressing and tough, tasteless croutons that must have been prepared days ago. The cod with leeks and horseradish was fine, but not what it can be and has been at Simon Pearce in the past. The Pinot Grigio was quite good and the Simon Pearce California Pinot Noir was delicious.
The Service was excellent, as usual, but the waitress was let down by the kitchen. Last year we had a similar situation: an excellent and knowledgeable waitress who had to keep apologizing for the delay in our entrées. However, when they arrived — more than 30 minutes late — they were excellent.
Simon Pearce, though very good at its best, continues to be a hit or miss proposition for dinner.
Consistently good every time we come! We can always count on good service and wonderful food! It's where we bring the guests that we want to impress!
We had a great time the food was wonderful the atmosphere was great and we enjoyed the restaurant very much
Lovely food, but it is expensive. Watching the glass blowing in the basement is a highlight.
Servers were extremely attentive. Food and drinks were overall excellent, even for a particular eater at the table. Glass art was beautiful. 2 hour drive that we would definitely make again.
Post mothers death family get together.
This is my third visit to this restaurant in 3 months. Excellent, creative menu and a beautiful setting.
always enjoy a meal at SP: ambiance, service, food
We have dined there a number of times and the service and food is excellent. Recommend the restaurant highly
Good place to enjoy a meal and relax
Amazing! Everything was perfect!
Food was delicious and the service was top notch. Be sure to call ahead or use Open Table to make a reservation, it is a busy place.
On the occasion of a 95th birthday, everything was perfect. Our server was especially patient and attentive and everything went very smoothly. The food was, as usual, magnificent!
Amazing all around! Highlight of our trip.
