West Wales Restaurants

We had a fantastic anniversary meal at Gaucho Cardiff. The atmosphere was intimate, despite it being a large restaurant. Our waiter, Dominic was fantastic. He knew all about the food and was able to make some excellent recommendations. The food was excellent and portion sizes were perfect. Unfortunately it is too expensive to dine there on a regular basis but for a special occasion it was perfect

We visited The Smith's for Sunday Lunch, this was the second time we've eaten here whilst travelling to Carmarthen. The dinner was delicious, excellent value for money with a great selection of veg, and the added bonus of yorkshire pudding with any meat ordered, the food was piping hot and plentiful, I especially liked the cauliflower cheese. The young lady serving us was very friendly and provided excellent service. We will definitely visit again when passing through.

We like The Gower Inn and always get excellent service. The new menu is a bit restricted and prices have gone up (like everywhere) but you still get excellent service and good pub grub from The Gower Inn. Moreover, the setting is superb, local walks are lovely and you can park free for 3 hours if you get a meal or drinks at the Inn. I wish all venues in and around Swansea did the same: some do (e.g. The Pumphouse - good pub) some don't (e.g. The Waterfront Beefeater - good restaurant). Yer pays yer money ...

Excellent service, we asked to be moved from the counter to a table and they were fantastic. Can’t fault it.

Lovely restaurant, beautifully themed and the food was great too, if served maybe a little too quickly!
