Big Johns Mountain Grill in Frazier Park, California is a family owned and operated restaurant that features an extensive breakfast and lunch menu. Nestled into picturesque surroundings with plenty of mountains in view (hence the name), youll have the perfect backdrop for one of the three-egg omelets at Big Johns Mountain Grill. There are 14 to choose from and are served with your choice of hash browns or home fries and a homemade biscuit or toast.

There are also 12 burger choices at Big Johns Mountain Grill. This includes a soy burger and garden burger. The California burger, with avocado, bacon, mayo and Swiss cheese, is especially good.

Discover Tejon Pass

While the Tejon Pass may be best known for its driving rather than its eating, there are a number of dining options for you to enjoy. A mountain pass road that links Southern California to the Central Valley, Tejon Pass may not feature fine dining, but there are several casual choices for a great meal. Besides chain restaurants, you can find family-run restaurants that feature cuisine like baby back ribs and chicken fried steak as well as hearty soups prepared and cooked on the premises. Mexican fare is also present with menu items including sizzling steak or chicken fajitas with freshly-baked tortillas, chilaquiles en chile verde and even roasted jalapeno peppers with lime.
