There were only two out couples in the entire restaurant. We were ushered to bar seating by a cook not even offered a table or asked what kind of seating we preferred. The bartender was nice and attentive. We order the crab bisque to start. The bisque was served in a bowl, with the crab and everything else on a plate… we had to mixed the ingredients in. The bisque was luke warm, the crab cold and not brought to temp, overall I think this is a health hazard. Very disappointed

I was impressed by their everyday happy hour menu. The choices of food and beverages were excellent. We also had their spinach & artichoke flatbread, meatloaf mini with mash potatoes, and ahi tuna sashimi! Excellent food, great service and loved their red sangria. This a lace I will come back to try other dishes!

This was probably one of the worst restaurant experience I have ever had. And we have loved this place --have been going since it opened more than a decade ago. We made reservations for 1:15pm on Mother's Day -- strategically so that I could still get brunch items (weekends 10am-2pm) but that my kids would be home form their morning sports and could get lunch food. Got there at 1:17pm and it was a madhouse. They couldn't figure out where they were going to put us and delayed us several minutes so that they could clean a space. Sat down and it was quite while before anyone asked for a drink order -- we were starving so ordered a flat bread at the same time. Drinks took 10+ minutes (we ordered waters, a soda bottle, a mixed soda, and a Bloody Mary) to arrive. Finally at about 1:45 someone stopped by to take our order -- mind you, it's a Kit Bar, we were sitting AT THE BAR so waitstaff, managers, owners(?) where walking by us constantly. For almost 30min. No one noticed we had no food? Oh, it gets worse... The brunch dish I tried to order-they ran out (waitstaff yelled over her shoulder and that's what she was told). Rest of the family orders while I reexamine. I pick something else--nope. Out of that too and yeah, no more brunch items. I squirm a bit and pick out a salad and confirm at least they had that?! We continue to sit there. With drinks and no food for about 30 more minutes. We'd now been there an hour -- and still no one notices we have no food? No one asks about more drinks? Finally my husband catches the waitstaff who took our order and asks for our order status. She asks what we ordered while consulting the electronic device in her hand -- turns out -- she forgot to place the order. Rather than wait any longer, my husband sent the kids and me out the door while we settled our tab. Perhaps if she had offered a comp on our drinks or something he might have considered staying but at that point, we had all just had it. Happy Mother's Day!

I think it was the number of services in the busy day. The service was extremely slow since I do not think they had enough servers. I feel terrible, but it almost became a bit unbearable sitting there for so long, waiting between courses. I don't want this to deter others from visiting this fine establishment, but sometimes when they are extremely busy, be patient about having to wait a bit. The food is amazing, and I would visit again.

I’m willing to give restaurants a lot of leeway on busy holidays and given the short staffing many places have been experiencing. That said nothing excuses the terrible service and experience we had here. Out of our party of 8 one person got their food correctly and hot, three people got food but it was completely incorrect, two people got their food and it was stone cold like it had been sitting out for a long time, and two people never received their food at all. All this occurred after having been waiting at the table for over an hour. We finally cut our losses and asked for the check. One of the managers said they would not charge us for the food we didn’t receive and the cold food (the incorrect food, although wrong, was eaten by three very hungry people so we were fine paying for those). Good thing we double checked the bill because when they brought it they included all the stuff we didn’t receive. Finally got that sorted out. We had one good server who had done their best through everything so we cash tipped them directly and thanked them for trying. We were afraid if we tipped on the bill the server wouldn’t see any of it. Before going I had been told this restaurant was very good so I’m hoping other people have much better experiences!

Overall good food. Small plates, so we got to try several options. Didn't think this restaurant was a sports bar and EVERY TV was showing boxing- not very nice for a dinner date, I asked them to play something more pleasant and they switched half of the TV's to football.

I was disappointed with the reservation…high top table had us at the bar right at the food prep location! Very noisy….lots of different plates set before us.. Service was very slow! Sat 25 Mins before food order taken. No water offered. I would not go back again!

Why bother taking reservations if you’re not going to honor them??? Made a reservation for standard seating. Our table was given to someone else that didn’t have a reservation. We were told that we would have to wait 20 minutes unless we wanted to sit at the bar to eat. Staff was very cavalier about it and didn’t seem to care much that we were unhappy and not willing to sit at the bar. I guess we will never know if the food here is any good…but the service was a non starter.

My fish tacos were great. My friend ordered several things and unfortunately the corn on the cob had green mold on it so we sent it back. The server said on the bill it was comped but it wasn’t. It was simply returned and nothing ordered to replace it. And the hostess did not record that I checked in even though I told I reserved through OT. I had to prove I was there by providing specific details from mr receipt concerning server, table number and total spent. This was my first time back since Covid so I was a bit disappointed. I wanted to sit at a table but was advised I’d be better sat at one of the kitchen-side seats as the service would be more responsive. Wasn’t what I wanted but it honestly worked out okay. The service was still a little spotty as the staff are working hard at cooking and making drinks as well as serving. It’s all part of the overall concept and so it’s fine as long as you are okay with that style of service. The food was really good and the star of the show. A somewhat deconstructed Crab Bisque that tasted great, three good sized Chicken Tacos with excellent flavour, and a huge slice of extremely good and moist Carrot Cake. Well-made drinks from the bar complemented the meal. Overall a very good experience and I would definitely return.

The food was delicious and the wait staff very helpful and attentive. We were the only ones outside for a while and they didn't forget us at all. They kept the water glasses full and made an extra effort to ensure everything was right. The food was very well done, the mixed drinks were extremely good and the dessert was creative and excellent. Food was ok, service was slow, although friendly people. It wasn’t busy either. The fish tacos were funky tasting, the wings good, but the blue cheese might have gone bad. The worst blue I’ve ever had. Reuben flatbread was pretty good but overall really Disappointing.

Food was good, service was lacking. I was on a date this time but had a similar experience the last time I came with a group of friends (there were 5 of us).

Frankly, we were concerned about poor reviews recently about Stone’s Cove. We had enjoyed pre-pandemic outings there. This time was no exception. The service was excellent, the wait time for food was reasonable, and management was active on the floor. The crab dip appetizer was good and generous, as were the margaritas and strawberry goat cheese salad. Unfortunately, the fish tacos were very salty. We’ll return.

Management would not help regarding disrespectful table. We were dining outside and had the entire patio to ourselves in the beginning. Then the hostess seats a bunch of four clowns. They had their feet up on the table, blaring their speakerphones and basically disruptive. I asked the management inside to speak with them and they did not bother. This is not a good way to treat regular guests.
