At our central location on 100 Rose Street you can unwind in our classic pub interior, or enjoy a bite to eat in our expansive upstairs dining area inspired by Scotland itself.

Hi . We didn’t say at the time but he meal wasn’t the best. The roast chicken on the salad wasn’t real roast chicken and the neeps were cold but mixed them together with the haggis and tatties etc The sticky toffee pudding with custard only came with half a tiny jug of custard. Just felt a bit disappointed with the food. Service was great

Great pub/restaurant. This was our second visit. As we enjoyed it so much, we came back for our anniversary dinner before a show. The staff are very friendly, food/drink is delicious and the atmosphere/location are great. Highly recommend

Great restaurant upstairs with great service and specials. A bunch of people downstairs watching the rugby match were loud but a fun experience to see.

Fantastic experience in this pub/restaurant. Sitting upstairs in the dining area was very cosy and had a living room feel. Menu choices was really good, food was delicious and presentation was nice. Service was excellent and everyone was very pleasant. Drink choices also good. Would definitely return again when I’m back in town.

We received a warm welcome from staff and got straight to pre-booked table for lunch. Several people were sent away unable to get a table ‘on spec’. Service was good and food very tasty. Nice friendly atmosphere and we were not rushed into finishing.

I have never tasted steak pie like this in my life, everything on the menu is just great. If I lived in Edinburgh I would be here every other night, if your thinking of going do not hesitate.

Good food. Sadly service pretty poor. After mains cleared away and given deserts menu no-one came to take our order. So after waiting 20 minutes we decided to leave. I had to go up to a member of staff and ask for the bill. We then waited another 10 minutes.

Lovely place for a lunch. Food was very nice, the fish had one of the nicest batters I have tasted. The staff were lovely and very helpful as one of my party is gluten free. I would definitely return for lunch with no hesitation and highly recommend.
