The Dining Room at Salish Lodge & Spa
Come in for our Salish Lodge Country Breakfast, a lodge tradition featuring a four-course breakfast, including our famous steel-cut oats and the iconic Honey from Heaven service where honey from our own hives is poured from high above your plate onto your buttery homemade biscuits. Or bring friends in for lunch and enjoy a relaxing meal by the fire. Of course, The Dining Room is most magical at dinnertime, and just what you would expect in the finest luxury resort in Washington.
The food was outstanding equaled only by the service!
It was great to have such an excellent restaurant right inside the lodge. The food at dinner was great, and they have a wonderful breakfast menu too.
Amazing service and view, the food was delicious and came out very quickly. Overall experience was great and will definitely be back again.
First time dining here, very nice. Food, service and location were outstanding. Somewhat noisy and prices were upper limit but overall a great experience.
What an amazing experience!! The staff were warm and inviting, the food was the most delicious I have tasted and the atmosphere was practically perfect! A truly great evening spent with my love!
We have yet to be disappointed with The Dining Room. We have celebrated many wonderful events by dining there. We also love being able to drive from rural Redmond to the Falls and having an extraordinary experience without having to drive into Bellevue or Seattle. The Dining Room is easily our favorite restaurant.
I brought my 90 year old friend and her 82 year old sister here for lunch. Everyone was extremely kind and helpful and went out of their way to make sure we had a great experience! Thank you especially to your AMAZING valets! They were the BEST!
Our waiter was strange. Our food good. People stared at us because I was wearing a dress and my husband was wearing a jacket. We’re assuming this was a one-off experience because the Salish gets many good reviews. We will go back to enjoy the Attic vs the Dining Room.
We dined at the Salish Lodge for both dinner and breakfast. From ambiance, to service and food both were memorable experiences. Dinner entrees of Duroc Pork and Fresh Alaskan Halibut were perfectly prepared and enjoyed with a delicious bottle of 2012 Figgins Estate Red from their ample and well structured wine list. Breakfasts of custom omelets, Traditional Eggs Benedict and the Smoked Salmon Skillet preceded by their Honey from Heaven service hit the spot and helped us get our day off to a great start. A quick but enjoyable stay that will bring us back for more!
Everything was great. They had fresh halibut however the preparation included something my wife is not fond of. She had a discussion with our waiter on a couple of alternatives which he said he would pass on to the chef. Bottom line, she could6stop talking about how excellent it was. Oh yes, and my rib eye was fantastic.
Live nearby but had never eaten at the Lodge before so decided to give it a try.
The soup of the day was Nettle Soup, decided to take a chance and have some, big mistake. It tasted like the liquid part of the soup was just oil (and felt that way too) and even with all that oil something in the soup (the nettles perhaps, go figure?) was making my and my wife's throat hurt quite a bit and making us cough. Could not finish it, and didn't want to.
I got the duck which I usually enjoy and this did taste OK except that it tasted like pork, not duck. When I pay that much for duck I really expect it to taste like duck.
The ambience was nice although we didn't have a window seat to see the falls. All in all I give it a big Meh, and doubt I'll be back. If I'm going to spend nearly $200 on dinner for two there are many other places that have better food.
Everything about Salish Lodge was perfection. The staff is super nice and accommodating. We just eloped at the bottom of the falls 5/11/19 and like most weddings, they run late. Salish was able to accommodate our timeline and pushed back our diner reservation and set us up in a very nice table with a view to make our stay even more memorable. The food was amazing, definitely recommend the apple pie dessert.
Everything was up to their normal high standards. Everyone enjoyed their food and the view from the window tables can't be beat. Our server was cheerful and accommodating. The clam chowder, in particular, was excellent. I wish I had even one negative or neutral thing to add to balance my review, but I don't.
Lovely accommodation in the dining room, very good food, terrific service. We'll be back!
They changed chefs a while back, and this was our first visit since then. We miss the Beef Wellington 😊 but the menu is amazing!
Shrimp bisque is out of this world! We also tried the pork chop and chicken dishes. Both amazing.
And you can’t beat that view!
This was a perfect evening getaway from the craziness of our lives. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our meal, our server was perfect and the drive up and back was breathtaking. We will come again!
Great food and drinks. We got a complimentary champagne toast because we were guests. The service was great. We ordered the lamb special, fillet, Brussel sprouts, whipped potatoes, and the venison. Everything was cooked and seasoned to perfection!
Wonderful brunch with a beautiful view. Great service, and a very relaxing time.
My mother and I had dinner at the Dining Room after viewing the falls. The food and service were excellent. My mother had the filet mignon, and it was perfectly prepared medium-rare. I had the elk, which was tender and well-prepared. I only wish we had a window/larger table. We were on a table for 2, and did not have quite enough room when we had our bread, wine and appetizer service.
We enjoyed dining at the Salish Dining Room for our honeymoon. The view was spectacular and the cocktails and bottle of wine we ordered were wonderful. For dinner, I ordered the scallops which were delicious but my husband ordered the halibut which seriously lacked flavor and was over cooked. We were disappointed that we paid $52 for his meal. In addition, the couple sitting next to us was arguing loudly while using profanity. We hoped that at a restaurant of this caliber, a manager would have intervened in order to preserve everyone else’s experience.
Last Tuesday, we treated our visitors from the UK to lunch at the Salish Lodge dining room. Overall, it was wonderful. We had a small room all to ourselves, overlooking the falls, an unanticipated surprise. But happy surprises didn't end there. When we walked into our dining room our eyes went directly out the window toward the falls. But then we noticed a lovely "river" of rose petals curving down the length of the table. We all agreed that the food was great, and that the clam chowder is hands-down the best-ever-anywhere. Our server was absolutely delightful - she helped people in the party with food allergies to navigate the menu and make safe choice for them. We are very grateful to her for making our visit delightfully memorable. All in all, we give the Salish Lodge high marks and urge you to take your out-of-town visitors on an outing to Snoqualmie Falls and treat them to a special nosh at the lodge.
Another great visit to the restaurant: excellent service & meal in a spectacular setting. As an added bonus, the sun was shining over the falls which created a rainbow.
SALISH ES UN HERMOSO LUGAR PARA COMER CON LA FAMILIA O EN PAREJA... EL SERVICIO ES MUY BUENO, LA COMIDA DELICIOSA Y LA VISTA INCREIBLE.
Had the country breakfast -- it used to be the Snoqualmie Lodge Breakfast -- not what it used to be. Still okay for large breakfast, but both quality and quantity are down. Sad that everything has to be downsized- probably save a dime.
Yummy biscuits, get the honey from heaven show.
The setting is absolutely stunning, with a view of the Snoqualmie Falls. The food was delicious (I had pancakes), and the history behind the hotel and restaurant (both very old and more recent due to Twin Peaks fame) is fascinating. I liked watching the honey from heaven "ceremony," and the honey was yummy. Can't wait to come back!
Mom and dad’s 64th wedding anniversary lunch. It was a wonderful time.
I had a wonderful experience visiting The Dining Room for my friend’s farewell breakfast. I had to bring my 2-yr-old along and Jessica, our server, was amazing at helping keep him happy. We enjoyed an amazing meal and My friend is already planning to return with her family this weekend to share the experience with them. My very favorite dining experience in Snoqualmie.
Staff was welcoming and warm. I went there to celebrate my husband's birthday. We had a view and the food was delicious at the Dining Room.
I love this place. I bring my daughter here every year for her birthday. Food was delicious. Our server was outstanding. Gave me vegetarian choices that I didn't even know you had. I actually recommend The Salish to my friends all the time and have bought many gift cards for different people so that they can experience and feel as special as we do when we come here. Thank you!
Everything about this experience was 5 Star.
Our wait staff, busser, food presentation, taste and portions were perfect. And the private room, location to the falls and the scenery was unparalleled by any other Seattle location.
Thank you!! 😊
Excellent service and excellent food, plus a wonderful view.
Ambience and view of Falls spectacular-food way overpriced for what you got. My Halibut was perfect and delicious but way overpriced even though it was Halibut which runs at least $20 a pound. Accompanied by a handful of thumbnail sized potatoes in a great sauce, but not a $49 plate value. My husbands scallops could have used another few minutes on the grill, they weren't done to his level, again not a $44 value because only accompanied by a small amount of vegetables and Cous Cous. Anthony's Home Port serves the samae with bigger portions for half the price. service was fantaastic. You're paying for the name Snoqualmie Lodge. Off our bucket list but worth doing once if you can afford it.
The food was very good. Our server was very enthusiastic. The view was good. The prices were a little high.
Over-the-top wonderful dining experience!
I took my husband there for his birthday dinner, and had a great time! The scallops, and they were AMAZING!
Wonderful service, excellent food!
This was beyond amazing. Our server and dinning experience was beyond what we expected. We had our own little private area and was hosted with rose petals on the table and even received a complimentary celebratory drink and an anniversary dessert which was all so wonderful. We were so appreciative of these extra special touches. This was the highlight of our wedding anniversary!! Thank you so very much to both Amanda our pleasant server who was very helpful in offering suggestions regarding my dietary restrictions, the hosts who sat us at this wonderful table and the chefs for making amazing food.
Food was good, but prices were very high. Further, a mysterious 3% "service charge" was added. The management seems curiously obsessive about reservations, even when the dining room was 2/3 empty.
