   Great place, great food, great value. We were rushed to pay the bill which is never great especially as it wasn't full and wasn't a queue when we left. Overall would definitely go there again and highly recommend as long as you don't overstay your welcome as we clearly did.

    We eat here regularly and it’s always perfect until Sunday! It wasn’t because it was too busy, just terrible management. Terrible service. We had a main and dessert and it took 3 hours. Enough said

    Food as always was lovely. Service was very very poor (worst I have experienced at an Ivy). If this was my first visit to an ivy it would put me off ever returning - we were sat at quarter past the hour and had to request drinks at 40 minutes past the hour. We had to ask for everything (drinks orders, food orders etc). I must say the runners were very polite and speedy when receiving drinks/watching them set tables.

    Love our visits to The Ivy but it was so noisy yesterday. We could hardly hear ourselves think. The tables are extremely close together too. The food was delicious, as always.

    Unfortunately this dining experience was a disaster from start to finish . This was a last minute booking and I wish we had chosen an alternative restaurant . The reception hall is tiny and cramped with parcels and boxes piles up . Our table was ready and we sat straight down but from that point on things went decidedly downhill . We waited too long for drinks and I had to go find the waiter . When our wine was delivered to the table the trainee waiter could not open the wine bottle as he had not been trained properly . We waited over 15 mins for our starter which was bit long . Then we waited over 45 mins for our main courses hi h we’re not piping hot . Service for drinks in between courses was so poor that I had to find a waiter each time . When we arrived the place was very busy and very noisy . My main course is an Ivy standard of veal escalope Holstein which was plain and dry plus the chef was unable to provide a suitable side dish of bolognese or similar sauce but gave me d charged me for a bowl of plain dry jasmine rice !! WHY ?? My visit to the gents was dismal as one of the urinals was blocked and the room stank . To top it all I was given a service charge , which was a joke , as the service had been abysmal . Stupidly I paid it but I hold never visit this establishment again . Either not enough or poorly trained staff who kept apologising for the slow service . We wish we had returned to Brasserie 108 next door which is far superior .

    Celebrated my husbands birthday. The lovely gentleman serving us with a beard was excellent as was the girl on reception.. please thank them. Our table was by the door.

    The cafe has a nice vibe and pretty decor but a couple of things let our meal down. My vegetarian breakfast arrived cold, and while the waiter did replace it straight away, it was then missing the potato rosti which was a shame. It also took a really long time for them to bring butter after delivering some toast. Overall an average experience but I probably wouldn't go back.
