Staff was amazing! Short-handed already on a Friday night with a wedding reception to boot. Hats off to them! The Lodge does best with its pub fare. My barbecued pork sliders were wonderful. The main menu is excessively expensive for food that is good but not memorable.

What a wonderful experience! The Lodge staff's service was exceptional - we had a party of 12, and everyone in our group was impressed with the food, ambiance, and especially the service. 10/10 recommend. We will definitely be back!

Very disappointing. Didn’t get a cocktail/wine menu which is surprising for a place like this. Frito misto was okay but seemed like we got the end of the bag, lots of small pieces of calamari. Fish tacos were bland, too big and way too much cabbage. Stuffed squash blossoms equaled 1 blossom. At this price I would have expected the service to be more on point.

We've been to the lodge many times over the years, but we feel like they must have a new chef. The food was all bland and overcooked (my wife's ordered rare steak didn't even have a hint of pink, my daughter's chicken breast was like jerky). The service was even worse. We were seated for more than 20 minutes before a waitress even introduced herself. Our first request was to decant our wine, and it took her another 20 minutes to return and she reintroduced herself and had to re-ask. It was 45 minutes after being seated before the wine was in a decantur. Some of the waitstaff was standing around, but none could be bothered to refill our waters. I walked over to the bus station and got the water myself and refilled everyone. For the price of the dishes, this was unacceptable. If changes aren't made, we'll stop going.

Typically a solid option in the TD neighborhood. Fried chicken sandwich is a favorite. Unfortunately had a bad experience recently but the waitress mentioned that there was new staff in the kitchen. Hoping that was it!

We usually love The Lodge restaurant and are loyal customers. The ambiance and comfort were the usual top notch level. But the food seems to have taken a turn. One thing we don’t like is that the pretty decent cocktails are pricey, which we get, it’s the deal in Truckee, but they are served in really small glasses. Double whammy. The Caesar salad dressing was not as bright & zippy & lettuce was wilty. My $36 pasta had boxed fusilli & while decently tasty, had nothing in it. No leeks, no I think it was supposed to be mushrooms…nothing. The house made papradel pasta you used to have was delish! My husband’s burger was good. The service was fine, it’s usually pretty great. But they kept leaving our used dishes on our table. Literally nit taking them when delivering a dish & multiple wait bussers just walking by not noticing. Also in general any time we have ordered a fish entree it usually badly cooked & way too pricey. Sorry to be a bummer cause we love the place but are hoping it gets through this rough patch & gets back to stellar!
