The burger had a delicioius aioli sauce and the salad was ample. We enjoyed our meal.
We arrived when the restaurant wasn’t very busy. Despite that, our food took an hour to arrive and was lukewarm.
Great food and service. Half-price bottles of wine on Wednesday, which is a great deal. Only problem was the noise level. The noise from the bar carried into the dining area and was quite loud. We plan to go back when we can sit outside. Awesome menu.
Great bar-only, Happy Hour experience. Ordered truffle fries, chicken wings, and the Wagyu sliders—all were delicious, but a special call out to the sliders. Yummmm!
The food was interesting and very tasty. The ambiance was amazing for a small place. Can’t wait to come back during the summer and try the courtyard.
Awesome. We went for the first time during Seattle Restaurant Week. $35 for 3 course meal. The menu is limited to 3 choices each course. The food we had was very good. We’ll be back! The menu looks amazing!
We haven't dined at The Loft for a long while, due to Restaurant Week we decided to try them again. We had an excellent dinner. The wait staff did a great job. Niko made sure we were well taken care of. We will definitely go back.
Service was a little chaotic. Had to get reseated as the outside area we were initially set at was unheated.
The food was delicious and the owners are very attentive and fun!
The food was fantastic and the service was great. We liked the vive of the place and are excited to go back and sit on the patio by one of the fires.
Quiet evening at a nice restaurant in Edmonds.
This hidden gem is fabulous. The risotto was outstanding! I will definitely go back in the future.
Our first time at The Loft, will definitely go back again. Excellent service and food. We had the short ribs and the cod, a side of roasted brussel sprouts, crème brulee for desert. Too much food to finish, have another meal we took home with us.
All three courses were absolutely delicious. Great food and very reasonably priced.
Very enjoyable ambiance. Although romantic the loft is up a steep stair case so be careful. Service was very good in spite of staff having to go up and down many times. Even water was refilled often. Nice cloth napkins and table settings. We arrived early for our reservation and they went out of their way to seat us right away. The menu is interesting and I recommend the gnocchi. Prices are moderate so not an inexpensive dinner out. The only misstep was my martini. I requested Blue Sapphire and got Tanqueray. Lots of good restaurants in Edmonds so nice to see they are working hard to earn another visit from us.
We enjoy the food at The Loft, but do feel that some of the dishes are a bit overpriced, especially the short rib. The octopus was delicious, but the burgers were each done one level above what we requested. The medium rare was medium and medium came medium-well. The Loft is noisy, to the point of unpleasant at times, so if you are looking for quite conversation, it is best to come at an off hour. The service is always top notch!
It was wine Wednesday and got half off a bottle of wine
Small space, squeezed together bar seating (cozy). Excellent service from bartender and server. We sat in the bar during happy hour and had apps & cocktails for a meal. Everything was delicious, drinks were perfect. A little speedy but what isn’t these days? A romantic spot or a great place to have a drink with friends. No kids!! 🙂
We had such a wonderful evening: great food, delicious drinks, excellent service and ambiance.
The food was absolutely delicious. We share three items: the Mushroom Risotto, short ribs and beet salad. Will continue to dine there. Love the cozy atmosphere.
Cute little place which grows in the warmer months with the use of their back patio. Brooke provided excellent service. Our party had the burger, short ribs, and mushroom risotto, all of which were excellent. The risotto could have used a bit less day, but it wasn't as heavy as many other restaurant's risottos. We did find the short rib priced a bit high for the amount of meat served. The beet salad was delicious with just the right amount of dressing. Too many restaurants saturate their salads. The wine list was much smaller than expected and the selection they had was ok, but not great. We'll definitely return.
The food was amazing. Unfortunately the server seemed like we were really bothering her by being there. It is really unfortunate and disappointing.
Kobe sliders were great. Chicken wings very good. So dark upstairs couldn’t see. No happy hour upstairs!? Lousy wine and beer selections. Expensive.
We were there for SRW on Halloween night. The staff was busy handing out candies to the trick-or-treaters but still maintained reasonable service level. Food was excellent, a bit salty to my taste but I don’t normally put salt in my food. They were very accommodating as I requested low sodium during reservation. We didn’t look at the regular menu so not sure about regular pricing, but for SRW the 3 courses were very good and great value. The wine was also good. Nice space with outside seating and a small upstairs area, tight but creatively arranged. We will go back again.
Good service, straightforward menu, reasonable seating
I would like to go back when I have more time and sample more of the menu. Our server was very prompt and attentive.
the food was delicious and the cocktails super delicious.
It was good. We sat in the courtyard, which was nice. Though it feels cluttered and messy. It could use a revamp. Food very good. Service attentive. Crowd is trendy pretentious.
Second time here. This time with friends. All of us had the Kobe burger. Once again it was awesome. Beet salad very generous. Spring salad great for two others. Salted caramel choc cake and the ricotta donuts shared for dessert were perfect. Food great!
Good food, great service and a pleasant patio. I am still impressed.
The service was ok. First the server tried to seat our party of four at a small table for two. We then got a table appropriately sized and ordered drinks. The Froze drink on their menu is apparently no longer served but instead of acting apologetic, the server seemed put off that I tried to order it...it is listed on the menu. Our friend ordered chicken wings and asked how many their were before. She was told 12 in the order, but when it came there were only 8. The food was good, but all in all, not the best experience we've had there.
Happy Hour with family. Brussels sprouts, sliders, loft burger, Caesar salad were amazing. Chicken wings need work.
The food was mediocre at best. My $33 New York strip was overdone and a poor quality piece of meat. It took so long to arrive to the table, I was not about to send it back. The truffle fries had no truffle oil. Our bottle of wine had cork in it. Not inclined to go back anytime soon.
First time at The Loft and we really liked it. Sat on back patio on a great night, but table top fire added even more. Kobe burger is exceptional. Wild mushroom and chicken risotto, and the steak were great. Fries were really tasty, and we sampled all three desserts. The creme brulee was really good, but the unique donuts and salted caramel chocolate cake also good. Wines are reasonably priced. We'll be back.
The food was quite good and not that expensive for the quality provided. The place is small, and was quite busy when we showed up at 5:30 on a Friday, so get reservations. Service was professional, but they have another fancy computerized order-taking system that confused me with the tip, because it did not show me the bill when it wanted me to input tip amount.
Somewhat noisy, but not impossible. Overall, good food, service and ambience. Well worth a visit to see if you like it.
Service was slow.. server haven’t took our order and tried to take our menus away. Food was okay nothing special.
There was a major mistake. I did not eat at Loft Cafe with the reservation made. I was under Google maps for The Salt and Iron. Which neighbors The loft. When I clicked the time to make a reservation. It directed me towards a site for the loft. Luckily the Salt and Iron still accommodated the reservation. I have not ever dined at The Loft but will be in the future.
I’ve been a fan of the loft for years and this was my first Valentine’s Day menu. Four courses and it was amazing. I highly recommend it if you want a great night out with friends and family.
Service was wonderful here as was the wine, and it was cute up in the loft. The menu, however, seemed somewhat limited and not very interesting. There were no specials. I might return for a quick bite or drink but probably not for dinner.
Excellent food. Had Prawn pesto gnocchi and my daughter had the filet mignon. Both were delicious.
