    The service was really really horrible. The waiter was so rude and only came to my table ONCE. I had to keep begging for someone to come for assistance. Never coming back to this location

    Food was good. Servers were attentive. However the outdoor chairs and cushions need an update. The chairs are uncomfortable and the pillows given on request are so squishy they go completely flat when you sit on them.

    Love the brick pressed chicken usually, but this time it was served tepid, Luke warm and a bit dry:( However, I will still try again!

    For the last five years, every time my family goes to NYC we make it to The Smith and we are always amazed and delighted at the quality of the food. Mussels pot is awesome.

    Waiter was great once he got there. We were seated 15 minutes before anyone came to the table. It took forever to get our first round of cocktails and a second round even longer. So much so the second round was complimentary. My desert was not 100% correct, coffee was delicious though. It was as if the entire restaurant except the kitchen was in the weeds. Inspire of this atypical experience, we still left a 20% tip.

    They made my son feel so special on his last day in NYC! Even found a “the smith” shirt for my son (who is a smith) the food and drink were amazing! Please go!

    Ordered the lobster roll with fries, which I’ve ordered before. Very disappointed. Lobster roll was smothered in way too much Mayo and fries were soggy.

    We love The Smith. We are big fans of the Watermelon Gazpacho and the chips with blue cheese fondue, which we order as often as we can. One family member has serious food limitations and our server was incredibly attentive to our needs. The devil is in the details and this is the first restaurant in ages to really nail it. Thank you.

    We loved the food, after we were both given the same menu. Unfortunately we didn’t meet our server til the end of the meal, as everyone from the manager to neighboring servers took care of us instead. It was maybe the loudest, busiest restaurant I’ve ever been in, nearly impossible to have a conversation, and the tables are basically on top of each other, so everyone is absolutely shouting. Fantastic food though. Absolutely bonkers good. Wondering if the other locations are this chaotic.

    Had an outside reservation for 6:30 and had to wait c30min for a table. Sound is cacophonous indoors. They seated us finally in a hot little corner outdoors surrounded by plexiglass and the concrete column of the building. The sidewalk and sidewalk grill under the table was sticky, dirty and a bit stinky. The food was ok. They gave us hummus and veggies to start, which I thought was complimentary, since we hadn't ordered it. We were charged $12 for it, however. I didn't argue because I was so exhausted by the whole experience by time we got the check that I didn't want to prolong the experience by arguing it. Won't be going back.

    Overall a lovely Sunday brunch. Service very good, food fresh and well made. Sound level high. This wasn't a good match for me, but that's my needs and not the restaurant.

    The hostess was very helpful as I had called and we were really Ming late from the theater. She had a table for us in the main dining room as soon as possible. The server was less than amicable and obviously not having a good night. It seemed as if we were an imposition. Her back waiters and food runners were excellent.

    My favorite items are no longer in the menu. The shrimp and grits and the chicken wings were delicious but gone. Settled for the street corn which was good and the mussels which were just ok.
