Our experience was terrible. We were put in a dark rooom in a noisy atmosphere. The food was almost cold and my wife commented that there was very little meat available. We’ve been to the Smoke House for brunch before and enjoyed it but this time, we weren’t in the main room and we couldn’t wait to leave.

The service was great! Smokehouse is a great place for some reason on Saturday night the kitchen was having some trouble. All the food that was served to us was room temperature but on the other hand it all tasted really good! It would’ve been a perfect evening if the food was hot but we made do. The server was compassionate and apologetic he even called the manager over the manager apologized as well. They offered to do anything we asked to make it a perfect meal. But we just decided to continue eating the room temperature steak and prime rib. Hopefully the manager had a talk to the kitchen staff to find out what the situation was

We were a party of 8. Seated on time. Servers were attentive. Food came out quickly and was very good. Decent size portions. Drinks were great and large. Valet parking was 6.50 I believe. Overall, wonderful meal. Will definitely go back.

We have eater here many times. I always try to order something different. I had a beef dip sandwich. It came with horseradish sauce and au jus. It was bland and a little tough. My husband loved his Reuben sandwich. Our waiter was efficient, but had no personality and just went through the motions. It detracted from our dining experience. They have the best Boston cream pie and that made it all worthwhile. We will definitely go back and I will try something different.

What a great place to take out of town friends, family or clients. The food is always wonderful and plentiful. The rich history and classic ambiance are not to be missed. The prices are very reasonable and the portions large. I love the smoked Tri-tip the best. The Chateaubriand for two is not to be missed for date night or first date. You never know who will be there that night. I met Larry David there once and also Jay Leno. Nice people but please don't be rude. Celebrities just want to eat dinner like the rest of us. Have fun!

Outstanding, easy going, enjoyable, very positive experience. Our family of 6 felt very comfortable and our server/waiter MARCO was exceptional to us. Delicious and perfectly prepared Prime Rib and Salmon were our favorites. Ambiance exceptional. We WILL be back. We highly recommend the Smokehouse for any special family time ! The Chews.

The food was not up to my expectations for a premium steak restaurant. The steak was over cooked and dry, and the vegetables sparse. We had to ask for dinner rolls and butter. The wine selections were good. The overall meal was mediocre at best. We were not impressed and probably will not return,

This was the second visit to the Ellen Show for my daughter and I and we had been recommended The Smoke House on our first trip several years ago. After eating here the first time, we absolutely had to come back. The restaurant is a very easy 1-2 block walk from the studio. The service is extremely professional and accommodating, the ambiance upscale but attire perfectly comfortable casual. The food, exceptional! One of the best rib eye steaks I have had, perfectly seasoned and grilled to perfection for my rare and my daughter's med rare preferences. We over ordered and took to go half our dinners, love it when one meal turns into two. Our order: 2 appetizers, 1 order of their famous garlic bread, 2 rib eye steaks with 2 sides each of your choice, 2 desserts and 2 old fashions before dinner and two glasses of Pinot Noir with our meal. So amazing! We were truly taken back at how low the price was, truly a great (two) meals for the value! In comparison, 3 cocktails and 1 order of fries at the airport the next day came to exactly $11.00 less than the cost of this extravagant dinner! Come on! If you're in the area, this is a must try! Oh, and although we used driving service to the show taping then walked, they do have valet parking for dinner hours as well as a self park option I believe.

The service was very slow and inattentive. We didn’t even get our order in til over 30 minutes after sitting down. The food was mediocre and overpriced for what we were getting. The quality has clearly been going down through the years. Also a door in the back was constantly being opened and letting a cold breeze fill the back room. That detracted from an already negative experience. I’ve been coming for decades and this will be the last time I’m willing to go back for dinner on my own dime. I’ll give brunch another chance and I’ll still order the garlic bread to go.

Great Service, Great old Hollywood Vibe. Very accommodating to one of our guest's dietary restrictions. Highly recommend the Prime Rib and you have to start with their famous Garlic Bread, although watch out, it's addictive. We'll be back to try other menu items.

Came here for my mom's 60th birthday. We ordered appetizers, steaks, sides, and drinks. Servers didn't come by as often as we would've liked. Often we needed refills of water and waited a long time for bar drinks. We were also disappointed in the cook of our steaks. We ordered rare and medium rare and came out well done. Even though our server acknowledged the kitchen's mistake and replaced it, we were all done eating by the time it came. You'd think that the cook of a steak at a restaurant that specialized in steak would be spot on. No such luck.

The cheesebread really is legendary and the steaks are good when they come out correctly. It's a reasonably priced place, but the food and service was inconsistent which was disappointing. I can chalk it up to a busy Saturday night, but I just felt like we could've been better taken care of.

A fun night out to see the Starbucks Jazz Quartet at The Smokehouse, an old neighborhood standby. The room was crowded and high energy. The Quartet was burin and the food was excellent. The Smoke House is an old Hollywood scene supper club and has always been fun but I noted last time I was there That I thought the food is better than ever. Great night out with friends to watch another friend perform.

Smoke House is our go to restaurant when he want what is usually a quiet elegant dining experience...sadly this time everything from wonderful server to warm & welcoming staff was perfection but group table close by loud and noisy with one who we can only guess wanted to be seen & heard by everyone...guzzling glasses of wine, let out with loud cackling laugh accented by constant up in the air clap, we did out best to tune it out but agreed if this happens again will ask to be moved...otherwise food was fantastic and we were given superb service!

We go for the bread! It’s so good. Old school restaurant, that hasn’t changed a bit. The only negative...we were seated in a weird part of the restaurant that I had never been before.. it was the big party section with long tables. It was super loud , and lacked the cozy vibe of the main dining rooms , I don’t recommend sitting in this section., We were surprised and disappointed that they put our quiet party of four there. Regardless the bread didn’t disappoint , and made up for the bad table...almost.

Although price of the brunch was a bit experience, but considering a huge selection and special occasion (our wedding anniversary) we decided to give it a try. Oh boy, didn't we get disappointed. Yes, we we're disappointed we couldn't eat or even try everything. Food was amazing 👌. And service was outstanding. Really loved it!
So give it a try and see for yourself. Highly recommend!

Went on a Saturday night. Staff running around, carrying foods of trays over our heads, bumping into our chairs and our table on multiple occasions - really ruined the reason for going out.

With so many fine restaurants that go out their way to provide a good dining experience, there is no reason to go to the Smoke House when it is busy.

Even spoke with management - they could not have cared less.
