Tilikum Place Cafe
One of the best meals I have ever eaten! From baked oysters to seafood special, ribeye and the crumble for desert....simply amazing! And a full house too on a Tuesday night! Service was top notch.
Excellent, as always.
Love how cozy and welcoming this place is. Had a reservation mix-up, which they handled with ease and humor. The server's advice was good--that wilted peavine salad was perfect, and the dark lager and white Bordeaux we ordered were outstanding. Will come again next time I'm in Seattle.
Fantastic meal and perfect service! This place never disappoints!
TPC is an absolute gem! The food, the staff, everything about it is terrific.
Always great food. Small selection but everything is divine!
The soups were amazing! The salad and sandwiches were a little disappointing - perhaps because they were a bit over-hyped by the waitress. Don't get me wrong, they were fine. But in comparison to the soups and the dessert they weren't as nice. The Dutch Baby was so good, definitely a 'must order' item when you go here. Overall very happy with our lunch and would go back again :)
We had Dutch baby, both the lemon and broccoli were very good. Coffee was good too
Very eclectic food — tasty!
This place has been on our radar for a while. I had a great time and the Dutch baby was awesome. Glad this place did not disappoint.
The innovative menu and serious attention to proper cocktails make this place a favorite destination for a broad number of regulars.
The food was very good and we had fabulous service. Our waitress recommended a couple of things and she was very helpful. The location is nice and we had a table by the window which gave us a view of the area. I would recommend this restaurant.
Absolutely outstanding meal!!! From appetizers to dessert! Waitress was wonderful too.
Will come back soon!
Love the place love the food. Very personal and friendly.
Everything was perfect. Chicken and Halibut were a favorite along with the warm pea vine salad. Service was really well done.
Always fabulous! Went for the same dinner meal three nights in one week.
Consistently excellent food and service! Get a reservation for sure!
Excellent and very professional service. The food was absolutely some of the best we have when we are in Seattle. We have dined at Tilikum several times and they have never disappointed. I have a dietary allergy and they have never had an issue delivering exceptional food.
We loved the menu, if I sound like I know the chef I don’t , the food was so very delicious.. our favourite was the beet salad and pork.... homemade ice cream was pretty darn nice. Our server was excellent . The clientele was our kind of people , we so enjoyed ourselves and the chef came out and met with us!! Highly recommend
I do not like the service provided by the server. It was a guy that was serving us. He literally took me as "transparent" and only has eyes conversation with my friend. I feel that it is quite rude for a server to do that. There are two guest on the table but he only greeted one guest and not the other. This is my first time receiving bad service in Seattle. However, I still have to give him a 15% service charge whereby he did not rendered any service to me. Please advise whether could I not give service charge if this kind of incident happen again? My friend gave him 43% service charge because he rendered a great service to my friend but not me.
Great place with awesome customer service . Enjoyed the soup and salad . My sandwich bread was a little hard but everything else was great !
Lovely food , as always. Quality ingredients, well-prepared.
Tillicum Place Cafe has delicious food! I have never been disappointed. The staff is knowledgeable as well as friendly.q
a great place for Sunday brunch as well as lovely dinners.
First time visiting this restaurant...it was an awesome respite after seeing Needle, Chihuly and MoPop! Feed delicious, service wonderful!
Staff were excellent — polite, attentive, and went to find out the answer to one of our questions. Food did not disappoint! We will be back!
We go out of our way every time we are in Seattle to eat breakfast or lunch here! Always fresh and fabulous, definitely a must for anyone in the area.
The crumpets (not on the menu but a special) are off.the.hook!
The roasted chicken salad (a regular menu item) is so amazing with a lemon aioli that is causing me to saluvate as I write this!
The server was slow, attended tables that came after me before bringing me my coffee. It was pretty annoying, they got all their stuff first and I came first then them. Food was okay, coffee was good.
Loved the ambiance, great service, food great from appetizer to dessert.
Great food, superb service and reasonable prices. The menu is a little limited so the specials help increase the choices for returning customers. Very cozy warm place.
We LOVE your restaurant!! Everything was amazing!
This is the best restaurant in Seattle
This is our second time at Tilikum and we look forward to the enticing menu. We had the cauliflower and octopus special as appetizers that kept our forks moving at full speed to grab up all the yumminess. We ordered the braised pork cheeks which were indescribably tender and had a great flavor. However, the pork cheeks were over salted to the point where it was difficult to eat - we couldn't figure out whether it was just the sauce or the cheeks as well. We also ordered a side of beans which were outstanding. Service excellent albeit a bit spaced out but it was busy that night. This won't keep us from going back but the salty pork cheeks were surprising.
The food was excellent. The server was exceptional. Could explain items on the menu. He made the meal even more enjoyable. We were seated promptly at our reservation time.
Been there a few time for dinner this was my first lunch.....excellent soup and sandwich ...yum yum, price was also OK and the service terrific...definitely a great lunch place.
It was our first time there for lunch (on a Monday). The food was absolutely terrific!! We look forward to returning.
This is a reliably excellent bistro. Friendly, with a neighborhood feel. It is our favorite place for our visits to Seattle for concerts and plays. Food very well prepared and presented. Creative menu, and the wine list always has good Washington presentations.
Excellent meal as always...restaurant is always a tiny bit cold during the winter so request a seat away from the windows.
I love this restaurant. So much so, that even though my girlfriends took me here for lunch on my birthday, less than a week later I took my husband for his birthday - two visits in one week - and we had to drive down from Shoreline on a Friday afternoon in i5 traffic. That's how much I love this place. Our server for my birthday lunch (I think his name was Mario? I know his nickname was "Super Mario" - it came up) was fabulous! A great waiter - friendly, attentive, very knowledgable about the dishes, never made us feel rushed - and we girls always linger when we get together. He was great. Our server for my husband's lunch, not so much. She was okay, but it was one of those experiences where she seemed pretty disinterested in us until the end when she laid the bill down (tip time) and finally smiled and looked us in the eye. I'm a friendly person, as is my husband, we're always conversational with servers - this one was having none of it. She would not engage. It wasn't that she was rushed, she was just "elsewhere" and irritated. Usually looking somewhere other than at us as she rattled off specials or took our order. If she ever smiled, it was forced and brief. Maybe she was just having a bad day. This is the only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars in this review. Because beyond that, the bloody marys were perfection and the food was delicious. I had the fry up with melted Beecher's cheddar on the toasts, and the previous weekend, I'd had the baked eggs - both were scrumptious. But admittedly, I was so full after both meals I could hardly breathe! Maybe don't try to eat it all in one sitting, as I did. My own darn fault. My husband had the halibut salad sandwich and tomato bisque - so good. Also, they have the best bacon ever. It's nice to have a few, true Seattle-vibe spots left here. It's all changing so much and so fast. The soul of this city still remains in places like Tilikum Place Cafe, providing you get one of the good servers...
My favorite lunch spot - a Seattle gem! I can't think of a better place to dine.
