Excellent crab gazpacho and salads for lunch but the presentation of one of the salads (caprese with chicken) wasn't as good as it tasted. Good value overall given the fancy location. We dined outside on a week day and it wasn't especially busy since the pandemic is not done with us just yet. The young lady who served us was delightful and attentive without getting in our way. Nice view of the Potomac and the Kennedy Center.
We ordered the calamari and wasn’t impressed with the portion. It was three of us and we each probably got three pieces. Not worth the price. We waited 15 minutes after sitting down before we were greeted after my husband asked if anyone was going to take our order.
Food is really good.
Family really liked the Crab Cocktail, and the Salmon sandwich.
Interior is not nicely decorated. It feels like a cruise cafeteria.
Too few servers for a full house so everything took a VERY long time.
Sisters bday dinner, grey table, food and service!
The runner never brought my dinner. I had to go searching for some assistance and even after I alerted somebody it still took forever.
Overall it was good. The fishnets on the poles, I quite didn't understand. We thought it took away from the setting. Nice indoor and outdoor seating. Also nice view. Highly recommend it. Excellent service, excellent food, nice prices.
Fabulous — as always.
Crab cake sandwich the best thing on the menu.
Fish tacos were lacking flavor and taste.
Crab Gazpacho was not good
Shrimp cocktail came over lettuce and not ice...
I went during lunchtime on a Saturday evening, great service. Pricey fish $45!
We came to DC to visit a friend in college at GW. Sat outside and the view was amazing. One of our friend’s mask blew away in the wind. Our waiter went above and beyond o locate a replacement saving us a very very long walk back to our hotel.
Amazing, food was really good , the view is beautiful 😻
Salmon teriyaki was outstanding!
The food was good, our waiter was on his job, and food came out fast.
There were 5 of us and the food quality was very good and it all came out timely, the only thing I would point out was the server was very rushed all of the time and was not at the table much once the food came out. It was also very loud in the dining area we were in. Overall I was very happy with my food and their willingness to split entrees and salads onto 2 plates without us having to ask.
We enjoyed a tasty meal in the restaurant’s outdoor seating. Set right on the Potomac the views of boats, yachts, and water taxis provided fun our our little ones and great people watching for the adults. The food was delicious. I would recommend the crab cakes.
Overpriced, small portions, inattentive staff, and not good food. Spend your money elsewhere not worth it.
Located at the waterfront, the atmosphere is great. Couldn't sit outside as it was a cold evening.
Food was quite bland and so it did not meet my expectations.
I was sad to see how far downhill this restaurant has gone. My husband and I went on Friday for our 10th anniversary. We met and were engaged there so it holds a special place in our hearts. The food was just ok and the service was terrible (maybe due to COVID). I put into Open Table that it was our anniversary and they didn’t mention it (almost every other restaurant we have been to has at least provided well wishes and a better seat). We ordered a bottle of champagne and other than the first glasses, my husband had to pour all the others. We were never asked how our food was and it was just ok. We probably waited 30 minutes for dessert which tasted like it was frozen or bought from a grocery store. The clientele is questionable as well. Three drunk ladies at the table next to us were blaring music on their cell phone...in the middle of the dining room. The manager did take care of that situation right away but I’m not sure we will be back for anything other than a drink in the future.
Everything was greater! I was celebrating my birthday.
Our server was beyond excellent!
I must say that at first I was very upset. We were waiting for about 25 minutes for someone to take our order. We reminded the host that no one came over yet and she said she would send someone. That was very upsetting considering that multiple people on staff walked past us and just looked. However, the waiter who finally came over and took our order was great and very attentive. He noticed that we were upset and made sure he came over to us multiple times. When it was time to pay, he took the liberty and removed one of our appetizers for the wait. We didn’t even ask for this.
So although it was a rocky start, the rest of the evening went much smoother with no issues. Food was great, strong drinks, service was good when we finally got a waiter. Overall 4 out of 5 stars. I’ve been here multiple times before and never had any issues. Due to covid, the service is not the best (which is the case at most restaurants now). Hopefully they can get back to their normal service.
The view can't be beat. There were enough umbrellas for those that wanted shade. Peel-and-eat shrimp were delish, and I was impressed with my hefty piece of salmon on salad. We'll definitely be back and hopefully, the tables will stay relatively spaced out as it was such an improvement space/comfort/noise-wise from pre-pandemic times!
The cocktail shrimp were a little mushy. The caprese salad was very good.
This restaurant came highly recommended but my experience was a total disaster. The service was unbelievably bad and the food was cold and bland.
This was not a good experience at all.
We enjoyed our dinner at TJ Seafood Place. We ate outside and it got cold. I was surprised they didn't have outdoor heaters. But, we enjoyed the dinner and views even though we were a bit chilly. Would go back!
For the price, the quality of the food is ok. The vegetables were cold. The crab cake was good. Not worth the trip.
The food and atmosphere was delightful. I enjoyed this waterfront restaurant. The crabcake was tasty.
Perfect place to get oysters! Great view perfect service
Service was everything. The fire pit was beautiful and cozy. Will be back.
Best day trip to DC to celebrate Vietnam Veterans Day, always love the waterfront in Spring. Windy but the Food and Service always kept up with an extraordinary experience.
Beautiful views of aircraft and helos, beautiful crewteams, and berry trees.
The food was delicious & the only thing that could’ve made the view better is a clear sky. Server was very polite & friendly but not quite as attentive as I’d like. Overall a good experience
The food and atmosphere were to be expected, it was enjoyable, but it would have been nice to have a server that came to the table more than 3 times the entire meal. We have to have the manager get our bill and then have a completely different server check us out because our sever was nowhere to be found. He also messed up my drink order.
Sat outside on the terrace on a beautiful spring evening. Service and food were good.
Beautiful waterfront restaurant
Arrived before our reservation and were seated
Fish tacos and martinis were spot on
Service was amiable and obliging
The hostess was not the most friendly person in the world, but the waiter, while clearly tired, was helpful and prompt. The food was better than expected.
It was ok. Nothing overwhelmingly wow about this place. The oysters were good.
Branzino was very delicious! I really enjoyed the indoor sitting by the windows.
Tables were well spaced. Staff members were masked, as were we. Food was excellent.
Our waiter did not do a good job he kept disappearing for several minutes we waited 15 mins for silverware after our food was served we kept flagging other waiters down to do his job it was a mess for the price we paid food was cold and nasty no flavor I would not recommend this place at all outside was dirty tables were not cleaned properly the seats were uncomfortable it was a disappointment to me and my family
