Nice place. Great menu. Good service.
My mom and I came here during the Dine Boston. The gate to the Top of the Huh is through the Prudential Center, and the restaurant located on the 52nd floor.
Our table was near the window, so we could view the fantastic view of the entire city, which was quite amazing. It reminded me of the skyscrapers I had been to.
For the food, it’s okay as we ordered Simple Greens, Pasta and Cheesecake. The service is okay as well.
Thank you Top of the Hub team. Awesome attention an incredible bilingual (Spanish) young people.
good views but not food, foods are terrible .Although only 38dollars per person please give some quality on it.
Always a special treat. Carpaccio is superb, cocktails delightful, delicious food. Can’t wait for a return visit.
It was an amazing experience at the restaurant. The food was tasty and though looked like small portions, it is quite filling. They go an extra mile to make your occasion all the more special with their personal touch. A fantastic lunch on a memorable day.
The city view was fantastic and I can even see the planes taking off from the Logan airport. Another pro of this restaurant is the waiters, they just provide proper service and almost the best photographer for group photos! You can just enjoy the food, the service, and the elegant atmosphere regardless of day or night.
Made a reservation, arrived 5 mins prior to our reservation. Watched several parties sit down before us and ended up waiting almost an additional 25 mins, which started the experience off on a poor note. However the food was good and the service was fast.
I recently proposed to my girlfriend at Top of the Hub and I must admit, I was extremely delighted with the services. They ensured everything was in place and even upgraded our seat to the best in the house upon our arrival. The waiters and waitresses were involved since I had alerted them about the occasion prior to coming in. They were genuinely happy to help every time I walk past the service desk to use the restroom. They kept cheering me on and wanted to know when I am going to "Bend The Knee"! Thank you to everyone that was involved in making Sunday, August 18, 2019, a memorable night. We will definitely be back!
Service was perfect
The view on a clear night is very special. The service is attentive and pleasant.
Beautiful setting, good service but the food was average. Maybe because it was Dine out Boston week and it was a fixed price it was not as good. However, I thought this week was meant to showcase the restaurant and its food. I would return for the view but not the food.
DONT GO HERE IF YOU WANT MORE THAN MEDIOCRE AND UNHEALTHY food was terrible. Brunch IS fixed price. $42. Does not include coffee, tea or juice. All drinks$$$ First course over-sugared yoghurt with two nice berries. Second course? My daughter and a guest ordered grapefruit, which was dry and not edible. No one checked on us until everyone else (we were 8, so figure a payment of $400 not including tax and what we would drink) finished. Waiter offered to bring them course another second after all six of us were finished with our second course ( mediocre). At one point, I asked for regular non-sweetened white bread. Not available.Waiter said, "Sorry, we only have pastries." The pastries were dry old looking things, the kind of cheap pastries that you buy at discount store. Third course? 4 of the 8 of us ordered Egg Benedict, which arrived on cheap English muffins. Cold eggs. Tasted like the whole concoction had been sitting around for 30 minutes. Eggs accompanied by greasy prison-food potatos. Dessert? Not good either. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE !
The food is a bit pricy, but given the view - the whole experience is definitely worth the price tag.
I was sad because I asked for something special because it was my husband's first day on site and no one served anything special. The food was cold and the bread was cold and hard. I spent almost $ 160 but I won't be back anymore and I won't recommend it to my friends.
I went here on my anniversary amazing food atmosphere and people definitely going to be coming back good job guys
Celebrating a special anniversary with a party of six. The evening was fabulous, and the sunset views spectacular. A very memorable evening!
I was extremely happy with our five course meal. There was not one negative part of the evening. All positive! Thank you!
Great place to visit for the view, food, and ambiance!!
It’s the BEST place in Boston with the BEST View, service and good! Eirth
I’m a tourist coming from Beirut - Lebanon, having a special celebration at this place.
Simply, I could not spot any negative point.
I even went to the toilets on purpose to check how clean they are. Amazing!
50th Wedding Anniversary. I wanted the meal and the venue to be exceptional. The service was excellent! However, the food was less than average. The ambiance was geared to a tourist trap. Sorry “Top Of The Hub.” I can honestly say I probably will not be back.
Bulent, our waiter, was efficient, attentive and a lot of fun. The vegetarian selection was impressive, both selections unique and clearly well thought out. The vegetarian Wellington was delicious. We originally chose this restaurant for the view but were delighted with the food and service. The view is astonishing.
The only reason to go to this restaurant is for the view. The food is below mediocre. My suggestion would be to go for a drink and then go have dinner at one of the hundreds of fantastic restaurants Boston offers.
The Top of the Hub has been there for certainly more than forty years, probably for much longer. On the 52nd floor of the Prudential Building in Back Bay, of course most people come for the view, which is spectacular across Boston and far beyond. Over the 40 years since I first ate there the restaurant has had its ups and downs, but at the moment is definitely on an up. Here are some great things, as well as the view. This is a good place to eat if you are hungry- portions are generous. The menu is straightforward, with New England items, such as clam chowder, plus an international mix of fish, duck, steak and vegetarian dishes - take a look through the menu, there is something that will appeal to most diners. Wine list is lengthy and good, with good affordable choices plus some very pricey bottles, if you wish. Unusually, there is an excellent half bottle selection- we enjoyed the Ridge Lytton Springs Zin. 2015, just old enough. Good dessert selection- chocolate cake, pies, all standard stuff, but excellently realised. Service was friendly but competent: a wine waiter who shows you the bottle label, confirms the vintage, lets you check the cork, pours a proper tasting sample and then pours the right amount into each glass, rather than emptying the bottle. Food waiters who are there when you want them and don't interrupt otherwise. Not the cheapest restaurant in Boston, not the best food in Boston, but the good food, the comfortable chairs, the good table linen, the smooth service, the fabulous view make a visit there a memorable one.
Table by the window - View was heavenly- Filet Mignon Oscar and Portuguese Chicken were cooked perfectly . Staff was so pleasant and very helpful and accommodating as my friend was in a wheelchair . 5 star all the way!!
As a NYC food/nightlife snob I was pleasantly surprised by this place. I thought it would be a cheap rip off of "The View and Lounge" in Manhattan but it was superior in food, service, and atmosphere. Short of rotating the 360 view was great. For Boston... definitely not a bad night out.
I had a reservation for my birthday and the restaurant exceeded my expectations! The view was amazingly beautiful, waiters were eager to take photos for us, which were perfect! The food was amazing, the service great, we loved our waiter! We were never rushed and the restaurant was full for a Friday night! Thank you Top of the Hub for making my birthday amazing!
It is great value for money to have lunch or diner there. Really something special!!!
Good food, great waiters
It was my birthday
Can go only for the view
Everything else, average at best
Came here for mom's birthday and specifically requested to have a window table a few days before hand. We arrived on time and were told that it's first come first serve so no window tables were available (which turned out to be not true as we found out there were empty tables on other sides of the restaurant and also there were many empty tables with a better view. Quality of food was not consistent, the lobster ravioli was outstanding and the seafood cioppino was very good but the Kimchi tofu was way too salty and the burger was not done correctly (compared to Ruth Chris"). Also, the service was not always timely. It took about 20min for the waitress to come and another 30 min to get served. The birthday dinner would be more memorable if the staff were able to be more accommodating. This experience confirmed my previous dining experience - this place is overpriced.
went early at 5 pm...had a very quiet table with a great view and were not at all rushed. great waiter!
Beautiful view, great food, attentive staff., overall onderful experience. Thank you, Top of the Hub, for a fabulous dinner.
I love this place for the food, the view and the service. It is a great place for any occasion from an afternoon cocktail, lunch, and dinner. The service is always top-notch and friendly.
Would recommend for anyone who wants to enjoy a great view with friends and family
Wonderful food and fabulous location.
Great dinner for our first wedding anniversary!
Beautiful setting in every way including the views. Perfect for any occasion and also a romantic place to be...we had the Sunday brunch and it was fantastic!
We went for Sunday brunch to celebrate my daughters 10th birthday! From the minute we walked in to the minute we left, the service was incredible. Our server definitely went the extra mile to make our trip extra special. From making sure we had the “best view in the house” to knowing it was her birthday and even serving her OJ in a special glass!! The food was delicious and presentation was on point! Highly recommended and will absolutely be returning!!
