Good was excellent but we were celebrating our friends' recent marriage and were very disappointed that we were rushed. Our reservation was for 7:00 and we were informed at our table that the kitchen would be closing at 8:00, on a holiday weekend. This was the first we heard about it. We were rushed the rest of the evening and my husband had to ask for the dessert menu. Tha food was great but I honestly would have chosen another restaurant if I knew ahead of time that the kitchen would be closing at 8:00. They should have made that known ahead of time.

Celebrated my daughter's 29th birthday - delicious food, large portion of the entree - took half home. Service was wonderful - with a glance of my eyes the server knew to bring dessert with a fabulous "sparkler" atop the gelato!

Good food but the value side of the equation is missing. You can find Italian food almost as good at lots of places for lots less money.

What more to say about Trento? The food and service are consistently great! Never had a bad meal or time. A true cut above the rest. Our server, Marlena was AMAZING! And to all the HATERS that complain that the food is pricey, or the meal doesn't come with sides or Blah, Blah, Blah...If you can't afford to take your significant other out once in a while for a special dinner, take them next door to Buffalo Wild Wings and get them the 10 piece and quit whining!!!

I took my best friend to Trento for her 50th birthday. The restaurant is decorated very nicely and the service was very good. The food was delicious, however, I had a salad with fresh fruit on top of greens. It needed more dressing and more flavor. Otherwise our entre' was great. Pretty pricey, but it is worth it.

The service was so slow we were borderline getting ready to leave. After ordering drinks We sat for 30-40 minutes before the waiter came back. Then another waiter came over an asked if we wanted an appetizer? We said no because we were afraid that would take another 30 +minutes so we ordered our dinner. We had a 6:30 reservation and didnt finish until 9:00! 21/2 hour ordeal -
very poor service

Excellent décor, service and Food. This gem is a fine dining masterpiece with one of the finest steak menu's in Suffolk. If your looking for good pasta and a great dry aged steak this is the place for you. The service is exquisite and all of the menu from salads and appetizers to multi main courses are fabulous. Be ready to pay a little more but remember this is fine dining and the food is worth every penny. I would definitely recommend to my friends.

Major disappointment. The baby arugula salad was very good. I ordered the salmon stuffed with seafood and vegetables. The salmon was cooked perfectly, but there was absolutely no seafood in the stuffing and there was only a tiny triangle of zucchini and a sliver of red pepper. It was all breadcrumbs. And it doesn't come with any side dish. My husband ordered the short rib rigatoni and the pasta was not covered in any sauce. Even the most amateur chef knows that the pasta should be blended with the sauce. There was some tomato sauce on the bottom, with the pasta on top, then covered with short rib. Strange!

they had an appetizer special allowing our group of 4 to sample a few different items in their menu. we enjoyed them all. the veal chop was fantastic. Our waitress Gaby was attentive and extremely knowledgeable of the menu, thank you. it's been our fourth time to Trento and every time we leave satisfied from the service, and to the quality of food.

It was worth every cent!! I loved it and so did my family. Not one complaint and we had a wonderful time. I would definitely go there again. The restaurant does not have any flaws and it is quite remarkable to find an establishment like that. I was happy to celebrate my birthday and anniversary there.

I enjoyed Trento, it was great food. However, I do believe that Trento is overpriced. The price of the meatball (I believe $22) is excessive. I understand it was Kobe or Waygu beef, but it didn't taste much different than a regular meatball that I've had at other Italian restaurants. I truly enjoyed the Truffolini meal. It was fantastic and delicious. My boyfriend had the scallops and they were good as well.

I have eaten at Trento many times and I am always pleased. Their food is delicious and flavorful. We had the giant kobe meatball and shrimp & lobster stuffed artichoke apetizer special and both were delicious. Entrees were great too. Ask to have Nicolette as your server. She is amazing... great personality and efficient service. The food and Nicolette are the reasons I keep coming back.

Had dinner there on sunday. Food and service was good as always, but the entries are pricey. $23 for chicken parm without pasta. That was extra.

Went for my 32nd anniversary and asked for a nice seat. Got one right across from the bar and next to a noisy child. Not exactly a romantic evening. Also, the music was too loud with an empty restaurant. As the place filled with people it was not so bad.
Very nice of them to dress up our dessert for our anniversary.
Really outstanding food and service!
Yes, I'd recommend it and go again!

The must have dish is the kobe meatball appetizer. Delicious. all main courses are good from the pasta to my favorite the veal chop. For a perfect ending go with the diplimatico napoleon.
Well worth the money

My most recent visit was a disappointment. One of our party ordered the linguine with clam sauce and the server properly notified her that it was spicy...my friend asked for less spice. When the meals were served, that entree did not appear and an apology was offered however the rest of the party was finished by the time the dish appeared. The pasta was soggy although the sauce was tasty. For dessert we decided to share the profiterole....unfortunately neither the menu nor the server informed us that the cream used was hazelnut which I am extremely allergic to and which is an unusual filling for the dish. Neither an apology nor an accommodation was made for any of these issues. I had been there several time in the past but will not return soon

Our waitress just couldn't do enough for us. So observant and attentive. Just terrific. The Happy Hour crowd can get quite boisterous so if your're looking for a quiet romantic dinner, this is not the place. But if you want an energetic, fun filled crowd, go for it!
