We have been here several times. Waitstaff as well as bartenders are very helpful. Never disappointed. Entrees can be expensive but worth it.

It hurts me to write this since my last review for TRENTO was so complimentary. I'm going to keep it short. Food really is overpriced. I didn't mind paying so much the first time, but frankly this time it just didn't strike me as worth the price. Obligatory French Onion soup was good. Burrata and prosciutto app delicious but not worth the price. Had what they claimed is a perfect Margarita. The first round was delicious--we all had one. The second one was DISGUSTING. An entirely different color than the first, SWEET, LOADED with I'm guessing Rose's Lime Juice? No idea. I sent it back. Got the same exact awful drink AGAIN. I asked the server if the bartender had changed and she said there were two--I'm guessing I got the "other one" who clearly had no idea how to make a margarita. The one listed on the menu. Permanently. Please, management, find that bartender and show him or her where the fresh limes are. I had a drink out of a machine that tasted like the one they tried to serve me here. Can you tell I'm still very disappointed? I saw the server give my second drink to what must have been the manager. I wouldn't have minded an acknowledgement from him that he was aware of how crappy my drink experience was. And that he would rectify it immediately??!
The dinner itself was decent--basa dish, my friend had the lamb chops at $42. Whew...
The dessert was really very delicious. Rainbow cake, gelato. Very good. My thought would be to go here for dessert after going to another place more reasonably priced for dinner.
Also, the place does get crowded. It's a nice space but beware--they like to sit you right on top of people even when there is other space elsewhere.

The food was delicious but over priced and the service was adequate . Did not go out of their way to accommodate. Had to ask for bread, water , etc. Should have been more attentive to ask those prices.

I never right reviews but this placed deserves one. The food was such an incredible surprise. My husband and I shared an appetizer special, with lamb chops, love meatballs, shrimp cocktail, truffle pasta and crab cakes. Everything was amazing. I had the branzino filet and my husband had the filet Mignon, both cooked to perfection. We shared sides of sauteed spinach and risotto. Service was exceptional as well. Can't wait to go back.

We've been to this place several times before. The food and service are always excellent, however, when we arrived for our reservation on New Year's Eve, at 9:15, instead of a friendly greeting from the hostess and,who I think was the manager, they said "just to let you know, the kitchen will be closing in 30 minutes." No other greeting. Very unprofessional. While our waitress was excellent, she was very apologetic that we were not told when making the reservation, that there would be a party starting there at 10:00, with a DJ playing garbage so loud that no one could enjoy the rest of their meal. It's unfortunate because the place really is good.

Having dined here several time my husband and I were anxious to share this dining venue with our friends from Brooklyn.
Our pre-dinner cocktails were enjoyable with a vibrant bar scene. Our table for dining was in a quiet area. Our appetizers were delicious. However, when our entrees arrived it appeared that the chef may have left something off my dinner plate. If I hadn't had this particular entree before, I still would have thought the prep/presentation was poor. But since I had enjoyed it on a prior visit, I was somewhat shocked! The Chilean Sea Bass arrived on a long, rectangular plate minus any type of garnishment. Not even a sprig of parsley! We called our server over questioning the dish, but he assured me this is what I had ordered. I had ordered a side of Risotto, which could have easily been plated with the fish creating a nicer presentation. All of the other dinners we ordered arrived with some sort of wow factor. Mine was wow, what's missing here?
Although the meal was tasty it left us with sense that there is something lacking in the kitchen.
Considering entrees are not inexpensive the meal should arrive table side with some sort of sense pride/flare from the chef.
This wasn't the impression we were hoping to leave our friends with.......

Another EXCELLENT meal @ Trento. You seriously can't get better Italian food than Trento. The food AND service are ALWAYS Spot-On. Our server, Ashley was AMAZING!!! And to the Drama Queen Reviewer who stated that Trento is the most expensive restaurant on Long Island, I guess when you are used to eating at McDonalds, Trento is a bit more expensive. Go back to McDonalds and QUIT WHINING!!!

The food at Trento was pretty good. However, it is one of the most overpriced restaurants on an island full of over priced restaurants. Every dish on the menu is at least $8-$10 more than it should be and most of them are steakhouse-esque in that they do not come with anything so you are forced to buy an $8 side dish just to complete your meal. It is only worth it if someone else is fitting the bill.

We visited for the first time for an early Thanksgiving meal. The price-fix many had good options and the amount of the food included was a great value. The decor of the restaurant is trendy and clean. Our server was polite.

Food and ambiance were very good, but pricey! IMO, the wait staff could have been more professional. I called a waiter over and he responded by say "what's up", not what I am used to from a restaurant that runs about $100 per head for dinner.

My second visit to Trento (and second review.) Even better than the first time. We had Burrata & figs and eggplant medallions for starters and homemade 'trufullo' pasta (with ricotta & pear) and rack of lamb. Everything was excellent and done to perfection. The "rack" was 4 double cut meaty chops, essentially an entire rack. While $40 may seem pricy, this could easily be split for two (I took two chops home for lunch the next day) cooked flawlessly and seasoned perfectly. Nothing seems to miss here. If I have a critique (of course I must,) the bread basket is underwhelming. Our server "Julia" was outstanding in every way. Trento is much more than a local Italian spot, this is a "destination" restaurant and worth the travel time.

Food was great, we went for lunch for a coworkers birthday and the food took longer then expected to come out. We also asked for a small cake and to sing happy birthday, they never brought the piece of cake and only said happy birthday. Would come back on a regular day not for birthdays.

This place never disappoints. We've been here for numerous special occasions over the past few years since it opened. Most recently, we were there for my brother's 30th birthday and this was the first time we dined there with an infant. I was nervous, because I didn't think it would be very family-friendly, but they accommodated us wonderfully by putting us in a corner table where we could comfortably stash the stroller. They also accommodated a last minute increase in the number of guests we were bringing on a Saturday night.

The service is outstanding, but the food is spectacular. Always memorable and delicious. The Truffolini is something to experience.

LOVE any excuse to go here.

The food at Trento is always good. Drinks are rather pricey, but you get a somewhat decent pour ... We arrived at 7:55 for a 8PM reservation for 6 people. We were seated at 8:30. The wait staff started out very polite and filled our drink orders quickly. We ordered, and our appetizers came out pretty fast. In fact, our main course came out pretty fast too. We we're even done with our appetizers. At that point we started felling rushed. You know your rushed when they start clearing plates, before your finished eating. In 1 hour we're presented with the check! WTF, the waiter was running out the door after we handed him the bill back. We wanted some coffee ... Love the place, but not rushing back for a $500 check and 1 hour experience ... (part of 6)
