Absolutely incredible food, so delicious & fresh!!! A tad expensive but definitely worth every penny. We are four very particular, discerning diners and we we were all very pleased.
We’ll definitely will be back!
What a wonderful experience!! Delicious food great atmosphere! And extremely friendly staff with an abundance of information from food to our wine!! Shout out to Edson our waiter and what a delightful conversation with Jimmy so much information about wine and the Italian regions!!First time there but definitely not our last!!!
Steak was over cooked
Salmon was excellent
Waitress was slow
I have been to the Burlington location over 10 times and have always left very happy. This is my guarantee location if I want a good experience.
Had a very nice dinner out with my wife. Service & food was excellent!
This is the second time going to Tuscan Kitchen in Burlington and this restaurant is about average, nothing special. Ordered scallop and calamari appetizers and they were the best part of the meal. The chicken parmigiana entree was dry, not tasty with very little pasta or sauce. The shrimp scampi had 3 jumbo shrimp and over cooked pasta. Service was very slow even though our reservation was at 4:30 pm. There are much better places regarding quality, quantity and price than the Tuscan Kitchen in Burlington.
Terrible service. Waitress had too many tables and barely checked in with us. We had to flag her down. No one helped her run food. The food and drinks took very long to come out. We ordered dessert and coffee and that took 20 Minutes to come to the table. Food was reasonably priced however the drinks were highly over priced. Baileys and coffee was $15.
Very frustrating, I talked the place up because I saw the restaurant on phantom gourmet several times. My party of 4 were all dissatisfied and will never return. My advice to the restaurant, schedule day food runners, more waitstaff, a manager who helps staff and checks in with tables, and reevaluate drink prices. Good luck
I had a fabulous date night with my husband. They gave a table close to the fireplace. The food was delicious, probably missing my daughter I had a craving for Pasta 🍝 bolognese. It was so incredibly delicious! My husband had a short rib ravioli, although they called it something else, again spectacular! We also each a sausage and a meatball and arancini, you guessed it, amazing! It was a fabulous evening!
The restaurant week menu was a scam. Food was horrible
It was the first time my wife and myself had a lunch at Tuscan Kitchen. We sit down at 12:30pm and waited for about 15min before the waiter came to us. We ordered three course lunch and no one cared to serve us the bread. We asked for the bread after we finished the appetizer and the lady was hesitated to give us. We finished the entree on 1:30pm and did not get our dessert until 2pm.
Terrible experience and can not really appreciated the service here.
The food was very expensive and not that great. I ordered the meat ravioli with a brown sauce, and all I could taste was salt. My husband had the Bolognese with meat, veal and pork and it barely had any meat. I am Italian and come from a long line, including myself, of good Italian cooks. It needs to be better than that.
Great food! Highly recommend the lava cake.
Great all around. Everyone enjoyed their meal.
Service was awful and had to send back food
Pretty place. Ravioli was good everything else only fair. The zeppoli for dessert was a huge disappointment- no different than regular donuts. Prices high for what you get. Server attitude was not welcoming. Glad I tried it but will not return
My husband and I enjoyed our meal. I would like to have had more choices on the menu, such as lasagna, cheese raviolis, a chicken broccoli dish, chicken piccata, etc. I didn’t see any gluten dishes on the menu.
The service was great. I thought the noise was a little loud.
This is a beautiful restaurant and the food was just delicious. Unfortunately the server was so bad that it really turned a 5 star experience into a 2. We were given waters, then the server helped every other table in her section. Ten minutes after the water, she returned and said "I bet you've been wondering when I was gonna come over and offer you something at the bar, huh?" I said yes. We ordered cocktails. They arrived SEVENTEEN minutes after we sat down. We ordered salads and added shrimp. We also each ordered a vegetable side. THIRTY minutes after ordering, I had to flag the server down to ask her to check on our order. She assured me the order would be out soon. She acted annoyed now. TWENTY minutes more, the food arrived. It was very good. At the end of the meal the server apologized for the long wait. She said the kitchen often pushes salad orders to the side and concentrates on the big ticket items.
Absolutely delicious food. Staff was excellent at constantly checking in to see if we needed anything. Love the warm, cozy, dim atmosphere. Food was outstanding. Best lobster ravioli I have ever had!
The ambiance of this restaurant was very nice---it felt cozy and warm. Our waiter, Tim, was excellent. He was able to recommend both wine and food, and the service was great. We really enjoyed our dinners and our evening.
Great service and the food was amazing! Everything is first class from start to finish.
Excellent, the food was great everything was cooked to order. Service was also great. Restaurant Manager Jimmy came over several times to see how everything was. He sent over complimentary cannoli's for us to enjoy after dinner. First time here but certainly not the last.
All very good. Prices could be a little lower by about 10-15 %.
Waitress was pushy. Wife had mouth full with bread and was rushing her. She was agitated because I asked for bread for our son and it was out of order. Food was very good.
Food is great! Fresh, many options. Extensive wine list. Great for a group. My daughter loved the kids pizza.
Great food and great wine selection
I was really disappointed. The portions were quite small, good was good- definitely not great, and way overpriced. I find the Italian in the Northend to be much better, less expensive, and much better service.
High prices, moderate portions, relatively poor service.
VERY surprised given the very courteous, attentive and professional hostess who greeted and seated us.
The food was mediocre. I picked the restaurant because they had osso bucco on the menu and it is not always easy to find. It came with a hefty price tag and although the veal was very good, the risotto was not creamy and was not cooked. My wife had the bolognese and it was bland and there was very little meat on the bowl of pasta. The burrata for an appetizer was very good. Overall I would say that you can get better food more reasonably priced elsewhere.
3 of us got the filet. It was a giant, tough piece of meat. Just did mot seam like what you expect from a filet mignon. Not much flavor. On a bed of super thin mashed potatoes. We got a ceasar salad that felt like old wilted lettuce. No crunch to the romain what so ever.
I never give bad reviews but this was a disappointing meal for 3 out of 6 of us. And we happened to pick one of the mist expensive meals.
This was our first visit to Tuscan Kitchen and we were really disappointed. We ordered a bottle of wine to start. It was $44. Not a big deal. When our server brought the bottle over to us, it was tiny. It had 12 oz of wine in the bottle, so we had almost 3 tiny glasses total out of the bottle. Come to find out later that the bottle actually retails for $12 - $15 a bottle. We couldn’t believe we were paying more than triple the retail price for 12 oz of wine.
We both ordered chicken parmesan for our entrees. They arrived lukewarm at best. The portion of chicken was huge. The portion of pasta was very small. The pasta was cooked perfectly al dente. I could’ve eaten a bowl of just the pasta and been perfectly content. Our chicken was over cooked and quite dry with minimal flavor and the tomato sauce was extremely acidic. We didn’t eat much of our meals. It was a very expensive date night meal that really wasn’t good at all. I’m not sure we will return. We may try the original Tuscan Kitchen in Salem, NH and see if our experience is better but this was a real disappointment.
Waiter was attentive. The hostess needs an attitude check. Overall good dinning experience.
Pizza was soooooo good !
Nice but price was a little high. The atmosphere was very nice. Very pretty.
Wow, what a disappointment. I had gone to the original Tuscan Kitchen in Salem NH numerous times over the years so I assumed this would be the same. What a difference. This shows what rapid expansion can do to the detriment of a restaurant. The biggest disappointment was the short rib filled pasta. This used to be an amazing dish, pillows filled with shredded beef; I would not only order it but buy them from the market in Salem frequently, made the trip there just to get them. Well, now they are very very close to Chef Boy R Dee in a can. Seriously, same mushy textures, no discernible sign of shredded meat, super salty, pressed ravioli rather than those lovely pillow type envelopes they used to be. They were served cold, literally cold, so much so that the sauce had formed a gelatinous rim around the plate. The server did replace it but how do you not know a dish is completely cold, there seems to be no one watching what is leaving the kitchen and the staff clearly isn't trained enough to be aware. Just a bad dish in all ways. And there was something crunchy in them, maybe egg shell? The server brought my salad before the appetizer then when she brought it back it was clear it had been sitting rather than re-made, just a dish of very wilted kale. She forgot my companions Caesar completely, he never got it. His bolognese was OK, seemed to be missing the cream from the sauce and was more like tomato meat sauce but tasted ok and was hot so that was a bonus. The coconut ice cream was delicious but missing the macaroon that the menu said it came with. I suggest you pass right on by this place, it's not good and there is no pride with what is leaving the kitchen.
We made a reservation for 6:30 but wasn't seated until after 7. I reserved a high top table but did not get a high top table. My server was great and the food as awesome. This is a VERY expensive restaurant so be prepared to spend top dollar
We have been here many times and always enjoyed it. This past visit was disappointing. The waitress seemed very distracted, and the food was not hot, seemed like it had been sitting. We asked for extra bread but it never came. Our group had 4 cups of coffee and two cups of tea, and she brought one small container of cream for the coffee, but two containers of milk for the tea. Not a big deal, but just another example of lack luster service. A plain cannoli was served for desert, but we noticed another table had it with a strawberry and touch of whipped cream on the side, just a little extra touch makes a difference. Restaurant was comfortable and we did not feel rushed, but will not be returning. Lots of other choices in Burlington ,
Food wasn’t good and it came cold
Very expensive for what we have
Our Valentine's Dinner was excellent and our waiter was very attentive to put needs. We really enjoyed the experience .
