Food was very good and prepared well as requested. Waitress was extremely attentive. A very enjoyable lunch was had by all
Very good food, the waiter was very helpful and answered our questions. We were not interested in having beer and asked about the Cider and he recommended it and both my wife Nancy and I enjoyed our drinks. The food was very good, the only downside is that I was prepared to have the Salsiccia, but they were all out. I plan on coming another time to try the salsiccia.
Our server, Adrianna was OUTSTANDING and made it a really enjoyable visit.
Poor service and average food. The menu is very overpriced.
Great food.. only complaint is I ordered the same dish as a friend and they were both different portion sizes. Should be more consistent
We enjoyed having a family dinner at Tuscan Kitchen in Burlington. The menu choices fit our varied needs, and the made-from-scratch food is very, very tasty.
Everything was perfect, we went for our anniversary and it was a a great night, our waiter was really nice and attentive , food was outstanding ! We love this place 💓
Our server, Sarah was attentive but not overbearing! Made good recommendations and made us feel special! Thank you! ❤️👬🌈
Oh thank you for the comp champagne!
We got together with a few friends and everything was good. All of us enjoyed our food. I had salmon, 2 of my friends had scallop (special of the day) and they were so delicious. We will be back real soon.
Great Food, especially the handmade pasta
Warm and inviting atmosphere with the smell of the wood fire grill drawing you in
Great service that is always accommodating of guest requests
Great place to bring clients. Wait staff is friendly and attentive. Food is always great.
Very good experience. Leary about eating here because our last visit was less than stellar but we were celebrating a birthday and this was his choice. Staff was excellent; attentive, and knowledgeable. Food was excellent if just a wee bit expensive. Would definitely return.
Let me start by saying that I have never had a bad experience at Tuscan Kitchen in Burlington. In fact, its one of my "go to" restaurants. HOWEVER, my friends and I had one of the worst dining experiences this week. Because it was a beautiful night, we asked to be seated outside on the terrace. We had 6:00 reservations, and it was a perfect night to catch up with old friends. Things went down-hill from there. When the fresh bread was placed on our table, we waited for a few minutes and finally got up to retrieve small plates and set-ups on our own from the serving area. We waited 30 minutes for our drinks to arrive. Our entrees arrived an hour later, and our appetizer never made it to our table. Our server kept apologizing, but we continued to be ignored. Everyone who was seated around us received drinks, appetizers, dinner, and dessert while we waited, and waited, and waited. Manager did come over and offered free dessert. Waiter did end up bringing our appetizer just before we finished dinner (and he comped it). We left at 9:30 (3.5 hours after our reservation). While we didn't mind time to linger and catch up, we certainly would have preferred spending this time with more than one cocktail (he never bothered to ask if we wanted another). We also would have loved hot meals (they were all luke-warm at best). It was nice of the manager to present us with gift certificates for future dining, however, 3 our the 4 diners stated they will never return. I was asked in this survey if I would recommend to a friend, and I said YES because I DO plan to go back. However, I will certainly say something sooner to management if service is just as poor as this was. I don't like to complain - everyone has an off-night, but this was one of the worst experiences ever.
I have enjoyed TK in past but you have to be prepared for noise level. Recently we dined there on the patio. Service was slower than usual. Once our first app arrived the fire alarm went off and we were ushered outside for 15-20 mins. When we returned, app was cold calamari and then our salads and entrees came almost immediately. Drinks were watered down because ice melted. We stayed they dessert to try to rescue the celebration. It was a 2.5 hour dinner for 4 that was over 180.00$. No offer made for recovery other than “one dessert will be complimentary”. The party next to us walked off from the parking lot and their entire meal was “complimentary “. Poor managerial decision and unfortunately timing wrecked some of the food too.
My wife and I joined a couple for dinner at the Tuscan Kitchen. Our reservation was for 8:15 and we were seated promptly. A waitress came by shortly with menus a wine list. She said that she would give us a few minutes to look over the menus. She returned 15 minutes later to take our drink orders and after our drinks arrived, she took our food orders. Out food arrived in about 20 minutes. We saw our waitress again after everyone was finished eating. At no time did she stop by to see how our meals were or if anyone wanted an additional drink. In my opinion, that is not an acceptable level of service. We won't be back. The food was ok...not great.
Tuscan Kitchen has very good food. Excellent service. Good wine. Overall, a good dining experience.
Great place, good wine selection, good food and awesome ambiance. Just please make your pastas a bit less "soupy"...
We opted to sit at the bar for dinner and quickly realized it was the right choice. Bar staff were very welcoming and attentive. Food was amazing... mixed drinks were perfect. We can't wait to go back!
Service was about a 7. All 5 meals were not piping hot so it was not desirable. Salads were perfect.
It was a special birthday dinner. We went early, 5:09, so I would think all our meals would be piping hot and not luke more. When you pay that amount of money , I expect all the meals should be hot.
Our surprised birthday dessert was lovely.
Food was good, portions were not large. Service was a little slow, Parmesan came out when we were half done with the food it would be grated on. Prices were medium high.
Our waiter meant well but service was very slow and many dessert items weren't available. The food is consistently delicious but a bit pricey. Tuscan Kitchen in Portsmouth NH is far superior to the one in Burlington. Our waiter did give us a cannoli to bring home as a gesture so that was nice... P.S. Don't order tea there.
Only on Tuesday nights. Pricey $44 , but so delicious!
We dined on a relatively quiet Tuesday evening. Perhaps the restaurant was half-full. We dined in the large space and it was a bit busier; however, my partner and I were able to converse comfortably. The restaurant will cook to order with pasta. My choice was quite good. My partner ordered a tuna (in the manner of sushi) and she enjoyed it. I'd recommend Tuscan Kitchen for a dinner for two, though it seems a bit expensive with the pasta dishes around $15 for the smaller size. (Yes, they offer two sizes of pasta dishes, a welcomed option). The wine list was good, though we opted for Sangria on a hot evening. I enjoyed the meal and will purchase a gift certificate for friends who will celebrate a special occasion soon.
This was our first time dining at Tuscan Kitchen, and we already can’t wait to go back. The service was incredible, and the food was phenomenal! They make many of their ingredients fresh each day / to order, and you can tell - each dish was more delicious than the next. Collette, our server, was so genuine and personable and truly added to the experience. We can’t recommend this restaurant enough!
A friend and I meet there once every six weeks or so to catch up. We've never been disappointed in food or service.
The restaurant was unattractive—-dark, gloomy, and dreary as lights were yellow and dim. The service was OK until time to pay the bill when the staff disappeared. There are other options in the area with better food for the same price. No need to return.
Great birthday dinner! Our server Paul was very attentive and friendly. The food was delicious.
We sat outside and it was wonderful to dine al fresco.
It was an amazing experience.
Our server was great & suggested an app that was delicious!!! And we were not going to get dessert & after she described them, we couldn’t resist!!
Great dinner with my daughters!
Just an average meal for the price. Server was very nice bu we had to ask a couple of times for things like an extra drink or some cheese for our mediocre pasta.
The service was excellent and the food was good. We did have a glitch where the kitchen over-salted an entree that it tasted bitter. Our waiter immediately had this addressed and brought in a freshly cooked entree within 15 minutes. Also, he gave us a complimentary dessert to accommodate for the wait time.
Portions were small for how much we paid, and felt like we did not get good value. Order a side of asparagus and broccolini and both were roasted but were charred and dried out. Paid $80 for 2 adults and 1 child in our party of 6, and we left still feeling hungry.
Dood served partly cold (ravioli) which does not prove “fresh Made” but rather heating up frozen food. Definitely not on par with the prices charged.
Not even a decent compensation on claiming the cold food
Would have expected more service and quality
Perfect evening with adult Granddaughters
Delicious GF options for one. And the other thoroughly enjoyed handmade pasta.
The dinner that my wife and I had was stellar. The food good, the ambiance quiet and comfortable, and the pompositiy minimal.
Well prepared items and excellent service made for an enjoyable night out with friends.
It's great. No complaints. They even made a salad that wasn't on the menu for me. I didn't want them to, but they insisted.
Sunday afternoon, dinner for 5 on a bit of whim. Been to the TK in Salem, NH and enjoyed it.
Noise level was very low because of the small crowd so I can’t speak to what it would be like with a full dining room.
Service was prompt and friendly. Our server knew the menu very well and answered questions in detail.
We ordered from the main menu and from the fixed menu and were pleased with the dishes. The fixed menu is an excellent value.
All in all a great meal. We’ll be back.
Had a great time on the patio. Food and beverages were great. Looking forward to going again soon!
