Tuscan Kitchen Burlington
We surround you with warm, cozy dining spaces within extensive seating (parties up to 18/persons). The large, outdoor pergola/patio offers seasonal dining.
Some of the most beautiful and extensive private dining spaces within greater Boston; please call us for a tailored event.
Our in-store market offers hundreds of items to bring home; handmade ravioli and pastas, ready-made fresh sauces, oven-baked breads and pastries along with old world salumi offerings, made & aged by us.
Portions were very small for the money. Wait staff was excellent.
Very disappointing. The Bolognese was nothing special. The butternut squash cappellacci was very good, however the lunch portion had 3 pieces the size of raviolis for $14 or 4 pieces for $24. Absolutely not worth the cost. One meatball cost $6.50 and it was mediocre at best. The service was slow even though the restaurant was near empty, and the waiter took about 20-30 minutes to bring the coffee out after the dinner and after the dessert was long gone, even though the dessert and coffee were ordered at the same time
We have previously had amazing experiences at Tuscan Kitchen so we were surprised to receive the service we had on Sunday. Luka was nice but was not very attentive. The food was average, unlike previous visits it tasted better than some of our meals in the north end. The four of us left disappointed honestly.
Terrific! We went there to celebrate the joint birthdays of our daughter and son in law and were accompanied by their soon to be three year old daughter. Everything was great, from the service to even the attention paid to our granddaughter. Everything was exemplary! And the FOOD! We can't say enough about it. The restaurant is a little distant from our home and we wish it were closer. We definitely look forward to returning.
Service was great and food is always very good.
Consistently great food here. Dinner and a movie. Perfect.
Waiter mentioned gluten free options not on menu. Very happy with service and food!
My girlfriend and I met to catch up ... the waiter was very accommodating to allow us to order a series of appetizers, spread over a lengthy time, as if they were small plates, while we caught up. Food was great, service was great thank you for a lovely evening,
Elizabeth is an amazing and professional server
I discovered the Tuscan Kitchen several years ago on a business trip to that area. I have been there for dinner 4 or 5 times now and never had a bad experience. Food and Wine are always great and the staff and management team were very accommodating. Job well done !
Excellent service, quiet so one can conduct a business discussion. Definitely I will return (again)
Management and wait staff was sensational. Will be back soon. Food was fantastic
Great food, really tasty with a knowledgeable staff ready to anything you ask. Definitely will go back! Good place to bring your date!
Food was wonderful but what stood out was our service. Our waiter went above and beyond and made the experience a delight!
Service was great, the facility was really well done, and the food was very good.
The food is always excellent, although pricey, however, the service on the last few visits has been very unattentive (NOT slow-paced). On this visit, our waitress seemed to be MIA most of the night and, in fact, after leaving the check with us, she did not return for over 20 minutes, prompting one of us to first get up and attempt to find her and then eventually to ask someone to locate her for us - the restaurant was nearly empty of patrons by this time, and our dinner had taken a great deal longer than we had anticipated.
Very much enjoyed our visit. Staff was excellent, food was very good. Will come again for another visit.
Disappointed in menu offerings. We both had salads that lacked flavor and dressing. Have had better bolognause.
Waitress was very rude and pushy......and did I mention rude?
Waiter didn’t know the menu. Was very slow to check on us throughout the meal
Great atmosphere! Salmon with asparagus and sage butter sqeet potatoes was awesome!!
Very nice evening. Table for 2 near the fireplace. Edson, server was very attentive and informative.
1/2 portions of pasta options worked out perfectly as we were able to taste Apps/pasta course and then dessert. Nicely done!
First visit, and we were quite pleased. Service and food execution were very good. Despite its large size, the place is designed to feel smaller than it is, and the overall hospitality is also well-rendered. We'll definitely go back.
It was a pleasant experience. Food was amazing! ☺️
Absolutely incredible food, so delicious & fresh!!! A tad expensive but definitely worth every penny. We are four very particular, discerning diners and we we were all very pleased.
We’ll definitely will be back!
What a wonderful experience!! Delicious food great atmosphere! And extremely friendly staff with an abundance of information from food to our wine!! Shout out to Edson our waiter and what a delightful conversation with Jimmy so much information about wine and the Italian regions!!First time there but definitely not our last!!!
I have been to the Burlington location over 10 times and have always left very happy. This is my guarantee location if I want a good experience.
Steak was over cooked
Salmon was excellent
Waitress was slow
We had a pleasant experience at Tuscan Kitchen. Our waiter was welcoming and attentive (he said he'd been there since the restaurant opened in Burlington, MA). I ordered salmon with sweet potatoes and asparagus. The salmon was good (cooked a little more than I like, but not dry) and the sweet potatoes were outstanding; the asparagus could have used another minute. My friend ordered the spaghetti bolognese with a meatball. He enjoyed it, but didn't think it was anything special. We ordered cannolis for dessert. The waiter told us the restaurant makes them from scratch. They were good, but not outstanding. My main complaint is that the food is wildly overpriced. There may be some dishes that are great, but we paid about a third more than we would at other, comparable restaurants. That's why I'm not recommending this restaurant. There are many other restaurants in the Boston area where the food is better for the price.
Had a very nice dinner out with my wife. Service & food was excellent!
This is the second time going to Tuscan Kitchen in Burlington and this restaurant is about average, nothing special. Ordered scallop and calamari appetizers and they were the best part of the meal. The chicken parmigiana entree was dry, not tasty with very little pasta or sauce. The shrimp scampi had 3 jumbo shrimp and over cooked pasta. Service was very slow even though our reservation was at 4:30 pm. There are much better places regarding quality, quantity and price than the Tuscan Kitchen in Burlington.
Terrible service. Waitress had too many tables and barely checked in with us. We had to flag her down. No one helped her run food. The food and drinks took very long to come out. We ordered dessert and coffee and that took 20 Minutes to come to the table. Food was reasonably priced however the drinks were highly over priced. Baileys and coffee was $15.
Very frustrating, I talked the place up because I saw the restaurant on phantom gourmet several times. My party of 4 were all dissatisfied and will never return. My advice to the restaurant, schedule day food runners, more waitstaff, a manager who helps staff and checks in with tables, and reevaluate drink prices. Good luck
I had a fabulous date night with my husband. They gave a table close to the fireplace. The food was delicious, probably missing my daughter I had a craving for Pasta 🍝 bolognese. It was so incredibly delicious! My husband had a short rib ravioli, although they called it something else, again spectacular! We also each a sausage and a meatball and arancini, you guessed it, amazing! It was a fabulous evening!
The restaurant week menu was a scam. Food was horrible
It was the first time my wife and myself had a lunch at Tuscan Kitchen. We sit down at 12:30pm and waited for about 15min before the waiter came to us. We ordered three course lunch and no one cared to serve us the bread. We asked for the bread after we finished the appetizer and the lady was hesitated to give us. We finished the entree on 1:30pm and did not get our dessert until 2pm.
Terrible experience and can not really appreciated the service here.
The food was very expensive and not that great. I ordered the meat ravioli with a brown sauce, and all I could taste was salt. My husband had the Bolognese with meat, veal and pork and it barely had any meat. I am Italian and come from a long line, including myself, of good Italian cooks. It needs to be better than that.
Great food! Highly recommend the lava cake.
