Always at the top of their game. Try the gnocchi with butter, sage, and black truffle
Vincenti Ristorante makes the best pasta outside of Italy - hands down. The service is gracious, the wine list is excellent and the food is amazing. I take my favorite people there because I know they will love it.
At prices as high as these one expects perfection. The risotto nero, Dover sole and rack of lamb met the test, but the roast halibut was mushy. I told the server, who responded :the chef always does it that way", which is absurd. So I sent it back and ordered the lamb instead but the experience marred an otherwise enjoyable meal and I doubt I will go back.
Beautifully prepared food in lovely ambiance with attentive service
I have to been in the restaurant for year food and service was great but
I wouldn’t go back I was surprised how un cozy the furnitures are it has some how not a romantic feel
If you pay that amount of money I expect a nicer setting so you really want to spend some quality time but it feels like in cafeteria ... they should go back to white table cloth old style and confutable chairs
Me and my girlfriend enjoyed planning to comeback again.
Celebrated wife's birthday. Had an old Groupon that no longer had the bonus offer. Honored for value paid. We live on Maui Hawaii and visit L.A. to see our kids. Finally matched a time to use the coupon. Veal Chop probably one of the best I have had any where. Wife rated her Halibut in the top three she has ever been served. Staff very efficient and worked well with each other. Noise level was higher than we would have preferred. That is somewhat typical of L.A. The Octopus starter was shared and the very rich chocolate with fudge was shared. They added a scoop of ice cream and candle to the dessert. Nice touch.
Tip automatically added at 18%. Total food and one glass of wine $199.00
The food was great, as was the ambiance. It was noisier than I'd like, but I am pretty sensitive to noise and it was quieter than many restaurants.
Two reasons why I probably won't go back.
1. The printed menu was short but there were many specials that the waiter told us about. But of course, prices are not mentioned with specials. And I found it hard to hear much of what the waiter said. There is no excuse for not having printed (or iPad) menus that are complete, especially if there are many specials.
2. The check came with service charge (18% before tax; so a bit low) added. But the credit card receipt had a place to add a tip, with no note that the service was already included. Clearly, they were hoping we wouldn't notice that service was included so pay it again. I was happy to add a bit more (to bring it up to 20% after tax) but was annoyed at the attempt to deceive.
We were there for Valentine’s Day. It was a fixed menu with lots of choices. Wcerything was good accept they could not get the lamb rack the right temperature. Ordered medium rare. First came well done gray throughout then came back rare blue and final time still rare. I ate it. The server was cooperative and understanding. I hate to send stuff back but it was inedible
Me and my friend came here for dinner on a Friday night. The food was delicious, however it was unreasonably overpriced. All of the dishes contained meat, so we requested a vegetarian spinach pasta with Cheese and tomato sauce. My friend ordered it with mushrooms. They messed up the order and got both of them with mushrooms, I didn’t want to wait, so I ate it anyways. The pasta was 30$, which is expensive for what we’ve got. At the end when we got the check, it included 18% gratuity. Well, that was a bummer, knowing that we had to ask for bread 3 times, before they finally brought it after food. Nobody even poured us water. The pasta was messed up too. So I really didn’t feel like paying 20$ in tips was fair. It tasty, but probably won’t come back
Delicious duck, and other dishes. A bit too loud for my taste but all LA restaurants are too loud.
There is not a better dining experience on the westside of los angeles. You won't be disappointed in any way - food, ambiance, service. A contemporary restaurant with the elegance and quality of great ones.
Excellent !! The chef is amazing!!! It's the only restaurant in LA where you can talk ,the noise is just a little.
Exceptional and diverse menu, my favorite Italian restaurant in the City!
Pasta was salty and overdone. Overpriced and added service!
We went for our 36th wedding anniversary and could not have had a better time. We drove from the San Fernando Valley in the pouring rain. From the warm greeting when we arrived to the valet when we left everything in between was superb. Great service, outstanding food and presentation. Not enough good things to be said. I'd highly recommend this restaurant to anyone.
Always reliable and great for a quiet business lunch. Maureen is a delightful host and the food is never a disappointment.
Maureen the lady who owns and runs the restaurant is a true professional with a heart of gold. The service is perfect, the setting is beautiful and the food is out of this world. My husband and I had the sole which was cooked to perfection and of course the wine was delicious too. This restaurant is a treasure and is as good as any restaurant in New York or Italy!! Thank you.
I love the food and the simple & clean decor. The dishes are authentic Italian with slight touch of Chinese food which made it unique place to go.
Great pizza night. Wonderful service. True quality
Typical westside atmosphere, rich old people. Restaurant loudmouth lady making rounds to hob nob with rich regulars was super annoying. But, food was excellent! Great wine selection. We had so much fun with our friends eating here. We would come back.
Great neighborhood spot. Make sure you request the main dining room. The alcove off the side is removed and feels more like a casual experience- no linen table clothes and poor ambiance, so make the request upfront. Otherwise, great food service and neighborhood spot.
Fantastic food. Fantastic Restaurant.
Fabulous experience all around. Can’t wait to go back.
Excellent food as always
I LOVE coming here! Any occasion- casual or special dinner I’m greeted with joy by Maureen the owner who is really kind, lovely and helpful. I love bringing my mom in law here, we can talk, drink, eat and be happy.
Just a neighborhood gem. ❤️
Consistently delicious Italian food with friendly professional service.
Warm ambiance in a modern setting, Upscale neighborhood dining.
Wonderful on every count - pastas outstanding - my seafood risotto was off the charts. Deserts too
Great as always. Service was perfect even with two parties going on and pork chop was fantastic
Fabulous Thanksgiving dinner!!
It was great to have a choice of a 4 course traditional thanksgiving dinner or the regular menu plus the option to mix and match!
I had the special hamachi appetizer which was melt in your mouth delicious. My friends had the roasted chestnut soup. Also delicious. We all had the turkey dinner which was a great gourmet arrangement of turkey stuffing potatoes 2 veggies plated like a work of art. We had 2 desserts from the regular menu: the salted creme with toffee chips... delicious! And the molten chocolate cake with vanilla bean ice cream.
All in all, a fantastic menu and dinner
One of our favorite nice restaurants in Brentwood. Always delicious.
Lovely people, sumptuous menu and great wine selection. What more do you want?
This is a perfect place for lunch. If you have a business meeting, or just a lunch with some friends, the tables are not on top of each other - so you can have a private conversation. A rarity in LA, even at fine dining restaurants. The lobster salad appetizer is wonderful, the pastas are perfect, the presentations are great and the service is terrific.
This has always been my favorite Italian restaurant in the US. I used to eat here weekly when I was living in Brentwood. We visited during our evacuation stay in Westwood. Nothing has changed- it’s still about as good as Italian food gets.
Wine is still marked up aggressively, but there are some great choices. This will never be a place you choose for an affordable night out, but when there’s flexibility on the check, this is a great choice.
We enjoyed our evening there very much. Excellent service and food.
Everything was picture perfect to celebrate our anniversary!!
Friends from Tokyo love authentic/traditional Italian cuisine.
They enjoyed Vincenti Ristorante immensely. The dinner was
great as was the service. Vincenti Ristorante is definitely a
must go place for Italian cuisine.
lovely service and wonderful food. The staff were clearly on top of many details. It was fun to observe their synchronization.
