Featuring a premium dining room, three private dining rooms and a premium casual lounge with exposed brick, New York style 30 foot bar and oyster bar this restaurant has something for everyone.

Happy Hour from Tuesday to Friday starts at 4:30 p.m.- 6:30 p.m. We serve our full menu in both the restaurant and oyster bar areas. Our Oyster bar generally features over 15 varieties of oysters are are shucked to order right in front of you by our bar chefs. We offer 30 wines by a glass with specific attention to Pacific Rim and Canadian Wines.

Dining reservations are recommended but not required. We love spontaneous visits. The lounge, patio and oyster bar area is first come first served. ( some exceptions )

We had been to Vons several times before Covid and always had considered it a nice date night out with great food.other than a decent margarita and great oysters….this time it was like an upscale Denny’s. Complete with laminated paper menus with tacky logos and lattes served in the wrong cups and Thus undrinkable. We even mentioned to the manager that we would probably had both ordered another drink to go with our different courses but the service was so agonizingly slow it wasn’t worth it.

My Aunt and I were going to Hamilton at the Jubilee auditorium and wanted a good steak dinner nearby. When we arrived I paid for parking and then when we got into the restaurant we were told we didn’t have to. Ordered the stuffed potato but got deep fried potato bites. My prime rib was good.

If it wasn't for our fantastic waiter, Louise, and the dear friends that we shared our evening with, this special 50th anniversary dinner would have been a total bust. Sorry, VONS, but you just didn't hit the mark. The steak wasn't the quality we expected for filet mignon, too highly salted, and overcooked. However, I do want to thank you for the delicous carrot cake ending!

Went on a date night and everything was great. The service was a bit slow but the waiter was kind. I had a serving station right behind my head and was almost hit with a pepper shaker. I would recommend moving it.

This was the worst experience. The filled was well cooked instead of rare and when it came back it was a sirloin! The had no crab so I got a lobster tail and the butter was melted margarine and tasted like a maple. The food was all horrible!

Made reservations for dining room as we had enjoyed atmosphere and meals at Vins in the past. Much different experience this time. We were seated in lounge. Servers commented that they were not busy that evening yet Service was extremely slow. Requested information concerning GF meals, server didn’t know and was guessing at best. When food arrived steak was cold, GF meals had to be returned because they obviously contained gluten, just looking at them. Very disappointed We won’t be back.

The food was amazing..Tried oysters for the first time and was reluctant to eat but when we got the courage to do so, we were amazed to find that they are so good..Service was a little on the poor side as our server kept forgetting things but maybe it was a bad day..So no biggy..We got taken care of for that..Overall it was amazing and I would go back for sure

My friend and I use to enjoy this place before covid a couple times during covid and now we enjoy this place even after. Food is awesome and a great value, the service is above all. We will continue to enjoy this place as we have never had a bad experience here

Our waitress was amazing, she had a great sense of humour and very friendly. I went on a Sunday for the buck a shuck but didn’t realize it was only for the lounge. They made an exception for me and gave me the deal anyway. The manager followed up with us after our meal to make sure we were satisfied. I will definitely be back with my oyster loving friends.

Very disappointed with prime rib dinner, caesar salad and Yorkshire pudding which tasted old and stale. Name is same but lots has changed since new management took over. Prime rib used to be slow roasted for hours in special oven and would melt in your mouth. Now, tough and covered with an unappetizing sauce , lots of fat on meat. Presention left lots to be desired. Service okay but nothing special. Will not be returning .

We went for a birthday dinner with myself, my partner, my brother and my kids. The service was impeccable the food was incredible. Our only complaint was a table of fellow diners who were using an immense amount of loud profanity.
