Wendell’s Steak and Seafood Restaurant is the Inn of the Mountain Gods Resort and Casino's signature dining establishment located on the 4th floor. Wendell's features succulent dishes of fresh seafood, aged steaks, scrumptious desserts and offer an impressive wine list. The restaurant and lounge feature spectacular views of Sierra Blanca, the Sacramento Mountains, Lake Mescalero and our 18-hole Championship Golf Course.

Wendell's Lounge is adjacent to the restaurant where we offer delicious appetizers along with our signature martinis, margaritas and cocktails.

Note to guests: During our reopening stage, we will be featuring menus with a limited number of our most popular culinary selections. We look forward to seeing the return of some familiar faces and to welcoming new guests.

My husband had the delicious and tender bison and I had the delicious chicken remoulade. All staff was attentive and the ambiance and history of Inn of the Mountain Gods was quite memorable. Dinner was expensive, but truly a one-of-a-kind experience.

Arrived a little early but was seated promptly, our server John was awesome and helpful with our dinner selection, we were celebrating a birthday and he provided us with some delicious dessert. Live music also made the evening more enjoyable. We highly recommend Wendell’s .

We eat here every time we come to Ruidoso. The experience is always excellent. There was a classical guitarist who was superb! Our waitress, Janell was tops! Recommend this experience to everyone.

Everything was wonderful. The food the service and the setting was perfect. Love the guitar guy. Jinnele our waitress was very good. Thank you for a wonderful evening.

The wine list was not current. Ample choices but have a couple of alternate selections. Great service great staff ambiance adult. Take the kids somewhere else.

My wife and I have been enjoying the restaurant (and fantastic view) for two decades now. Wendell's has always had a good wine list, but the addition of sommelier Melissa Waldrop to the staff has significantly expanded the wine options. If you have not been to Wendell's for awhile, it is worth a visit just to see the vast selection of quality wines now available.

5 stars fine dining here paired with a magical view and immersed in the beauty of the Mescalero Reservation. Incredible wine list. Prudence was an amazing host. Fantastic experience!
