    Our first time and the waiter Allan, Service and food was a great experience. Allan our waiter was very nice and engaging. His service was superb! We tried the chicken fried scallops and was favorite. Steak dinner was excellent! Would highly recommend!

    The atmosphere was very nice, as well as the service. For the same price (if not less),I have eaten at other places that the quality of the food was much better. I had the filet & although the very inside was medium (as ordered), the outside edges were very well done. The cut of meat also seemed a little lower quality.

    The Nashville Hot Oysters, Chicken Fried Lobster and Cowboy Steak were delicious. The serving portions were a good size. The drinks were excellent. Brandon ensured we were aware of all the options Y.O. offered. He was courteous, knowledgeable, and personable. This was a great overall experience.

    -Group of 5 -Location is nice, parking readily available nearby and traffic wasn't too terrible at 4:15pm on a Saturday. As we entered Y.O. we noticed the gentle and moody lightning that softly lit an empty dining area. -The Hostess was polite and knowledgeable before quickly seating us. -Jorge was our waiter and he was the star of the night. Extremely knowledgeable of the entire menu, substitions, recommendations, and history. When asked why he clearly enjoyed his job he informed the table he enjoyed working for the owners who actually cared about the small details unlike a corporate restaurant. We would have to agree. We ordered: 1. Soul Belly starters with collared greens. -Delicious. Our table wiped these clean once they arrived. 2. 2 Buffalo Filet Mignon Entrées -Both ordered "med-rare", but 1 was slightly over cooked. Regardless, meat was tender and well flavored. The sides included vegetables and gouda macaroni. While the vegetables were well seasoned and good the macaroni was bland and didn't pair well in our tables opinion. 3. Espresso Crusted Elk Tenderloin - Ordered "med-rare", received "med-well", but once again the elk was tender, not overly seasoned, and not very gamey as forewarned. The wild rice and vegetables were delicious. 4. Tomahawk Steak - Ordered "med-rare" and received correctly. Meat was tender, seasoned and well paired with the mash potatoes, but the vegetables were over cooked on this dish. 5. Steak Burger - Ordered & recidved "med-rare". Some assembly required, which made it slightly difficult for our one handed companion to build. But flavor was excellent. 7.5 out of 10 overall

    The host was accommodating to our kids needs; didn’t know there was a special menu because it was Thanksgiving.  they made accommodations for the children in our group without having to pay for adult price fix menu.

    Gideon provided excellent service and menu guidance… and caught up with me before I left without my purse. 🤦🏻‍♀️ Food was delish! We had the mixed grill and Elk tenderloin with smoked baked potato, Brussels sprouts, asparagus, chocolate lava cake and chocolate torte. We’d do it all over again! Thank you for a wonderful birthday dinner!

    YO was the perfect luncheon place to celebrate my friend’s 75th birthday. The food was delicious with chicken fried oyster appetizers, goat cheese burger and fries, and a grilled chicken in a nice sauce with mashed and veggies—nice broccoli cauliflower squash mix. A delicious chocolate cake dessert beautifully presented with a candle And birthday greeting. Brandon was very nice, checked in on our needs the perfect amount of times.

    Very cool place, service was excellent. I had a 24 ounce porterhouse medium rare, and I believe $60 half the steak was rare, the tenderloin side was over medium , the baked potato was extremely over cooked. My daughter had a 10 ounce fillet near perfect as you could get. She ordered the Gouda mac & cheese when she put her fork in it she picked up the whole cold chunk off the dish . Disappointing to say the least in the quality , $250 later we decided we would not return .

    Waiter did not fully explain the sauces on the dishes and seemed to be in a hurry. We felt like we were being rushed so he could turn over the table. Filet was underdone but it was not sent back after the issues with the sauce. This experience was much different than what we have had in the past. Previous visits were large parties and everything was very well done.

    In a nutshell… ordered the tomahawk. Thirty minutes later, the waiter comes over with a menu and says “we’re all out”. Ok… weird. I ordered the bone in New York strip…. Waiter comes back “we’re out” I reorder the Porterhouse. Guess what waiter comes back and you guessed it… “we’re out”!!! This is a steakhouse right? So in frustration. I say, bring me whatever you have. I was served the prime New York strip. It was chewy, and tough. I ask to speak to the manager. She never came by as she was way too busy talking to the hostess all evening who kept touching her long hair… Disappointment every time we come here. We come once a year when we visit Dallas. Obviously management does not care about hospitality and customer service.

    We were excited to meet out of town friends at the restaurant. First time going. I guess I expected more. Our friends had to return their steaks bc they were over done. The service was fine. Just didn't meet my expectations. I won't be back.

    Ambiance was nice, chili was really good. Value for the cost of the steak, preparation and seasoning does not match the price. Steak was not seasoned well, burned with grilled taste. A little more love on the preparation of the steak would have taken our overall experience to a higher level. Perhaps it was an off night for the kitchen staff.

    We were seated outside after we arrived for a reservation and our table inside wasn’t ready. We waited 10 minutes for water and another 5 for menus. The waiter was then very friendly and the food came quickly. It was fine, nothing special. We had to ask for the check twice - the were busy and seemed to forget they had people sitting outside.

    We had the 6oz filet and the Elk and both were delicious. My husband had the chili which had great flavor and we shared Mac and cheese - also delicious! We even tried 2 desserts - the blueberry cheesecake and the chocolate cake - and I would recommend both! Our server, Nathan, was great and we will definitely be back!

    I had the duck prosciutto salad with burrata cheese to start. The salad was uninteresting. There was a large portion of burrata cheese in the center of the plate with duck prosciutto on the periphery. While the items individually were pleasant the salad as a whole lacked flavor and cohesiveness. The entree of elk tenderloin was prepared to temperature but overwhelmed by the blueberry port reduction. The carrots and green beans were cold. Overall, the meal was average and disappointing.

    We tried wild game including wild game mix of venison chop, Buffalo steak and quail.Also spouse had Buffalo filet mignon which we both felt was incredible. Venison medallions were so good with many incredible flavors. As were vegetables. Great chocolate cake to finish. Our server was so attentive, knowledgeable and nice. Great experience

    Food was great! Service felt a bit rushed, but, once we received the food, less so. My soup was not as hot as I would have liked, nor was the rice that accompanied my entree. This, I suspect, is a timing issue tied to the rush of food.
