Best Afternoon Tea Restaurants in Chicago

Wonderful. Love the ambience. Our server Peter was grand. Every thing on the tea service was outstanding! I loved that there was no obtrusive music. We could actually converse. We will return soon!!

The food is very good! Chicken club is our favorite!

Had a lovely time on the terrace - the fire pits kept me warm! A pleasant surprise with the happy hour was that there were multiple options for my dairy allergy. Wasn’t expecting to be able to eat during happy hour, but was so glad that I was able to!

We had a lovely experience at the Tale as Old as Time tea! Every detail was perfection — the harpist’s yellow ball gown, the “gray stuff” (which was indeed delicious!), the fun interactive olive oil cake candelabra display, and the single drop of dew on top of the rose pastry. It was magical! Miranda and the rest of the staff provided superior service throughout the afternoon, and we can’t wait to join for the Devil Wears Prada tea next! Thank you for always making us feel welcome and for putting on such an amazing display of culinary delights with your themed teas!

The experience was nice. The drinks were amazing and mu friend enjoyed the tower of treats. It was a really nice vibe if you're hanging out with friends or on a date. The service was good and the dj helped to curate a festive mood. The server adhered to my friend's food allergy, which was nice. I understood the price up front, so there wasn't an issue. We sat near a couple (young) that were not aware of the cost before they ordered, so maybe add context for visitors to prevent the misunderstanding. Overall, I'd return again.
