    We had a wonderful “tea” at McFarlands Tea House. The server brought out a little Mrs. Potts teapot for my two granddaughters. The food was delicious, the atmosphere and view delightful. A lovely experience.

    Wonderful and beautiful spot for afternoon tea and birthday celebration, plus an exquisite ambiance inside of the Fairmont York hotel. We loved our champagne, tea, sandwiches, and desserts. Top notch service and a delightful pianist capped off a wonderful experience!

    We had a reservation right at opening (12:30pm) which was fairly calm with only a handful of other tables being occupied. The experience offers three menus to choose from, and we got the Spring Tea menu. Our server Dey was kind and knowledgeable about the teas available and how best to experience them (with or without milk). He was also dedicated to ensuring we had a good experience and celebration for belated Mother’s Day. True to the high tea experience, all of the sandwiches, pastries, and finger foods were bite-sized, but the amount offered definitely had us leaving quite stuffed (with others taking some to go). Overall a very cute experience and reason to go out with the girls all dressed up and fancy (not a requirement but I wanted to).
