When I heard Bent by Susurlee was closing I thought I would never take part of another culinary experience such like that again. However, despite Lee being open for several years, this has been my first time going. Oh boy, where do I begin. The last time I tried the Singapore slaw was at Bent and it was the one thing I was looking forward to this time. Not only was it still incredible - several new ingredients have been added, tasting better than I ever remembered. I would like to say the lettuce cups are to die for. The umami, hearty, savoury, and sweet flavour profile of the chicken combined with the crispy lettuce creates an indescribable flavour, making me crave every next bite. The gyoza 10/10, the lettuce wraps 10/10, and the Singapore slaw, 10/10. Thank you for such an amazing experience, and hospitality from the team at Lee. I will definitely be back.

I had a long and exhausting week with some personal issues and my partner took me out for a nice dinner. I looked at the menu and I knew everything on the menu would be great, so we asked the server to suggest some things to us and Greg took it upon himself to start bringing us amazing dishes that exceeded our expectations. Service was phenomenal and then it was finished by Jennifer taking over to serve us dessert. Through a brief conversation she learned that my birthday was coming up next month, and thoughtfully brought over the dessert with "happy early birthday" written on it. It brought tears to my eyes and if I can give this restaurant to six out of five I definitely would on food and most notably on service. Highly recommended. This is the type of service that would bring me back again and again.
