Best Californian Restaurants in Lake Arrowhead

Lovely waitresses. So nice with our 14-year-old who was proud to be at a nice restaurant celebrating going into high school after summer break.

Honestly, best experience ever. Service was extraordinary! Food was amazing. Couldn’t have picked a better place. You have to try their pasta and their lobster Mac n cheese

Canopy is fantastic. We went there for our anniversary and had a wonderful evening. The atmosphere is top-notch. We love the design of the restaurant inside and out. The wine is phenomenal. The owner has a vineyard in Argentina, and I recommend trying the Malbec if you like reds or the Pinot Rosé if you prefer something a bit lighter. We also recommend the Mezze appetizer. The house marinated olives and homemade hummus were both standouts. Dinner also did not disappoint as my wife loved the Kale Caesar with Crab (and there was a lot of crab), and I had the very tasty Chicken Paillard. We finished things off with a light but flavorful pound cake and a wonderful, but not too sweet, dessert wine. We are so happy we found Canopy and will definitely be going back.

This was my second time dining at The Pantry at Holiday House, and it definitely won’t be my last. I was lucky enough to snag a poolside seat with a gorgeous view of the Palm Springs mountains — the perfect setting for their Memorial Day special lunch. The whole vibe was upscale poolside BBQ: relaxed, stylish, and very Palm Springs. As a vegetarian, I really appreciated that there were thoughtful options beyond the usual side dishes. My grilled cheese was prepared right on the BBQ and had an amazing smoky flavor, paired with one of the best potato salads I’ve had in a long time. The grilled corn on the cob was seasoned perfectly and absolutely delicious. The staff were incredibly attentive throughout the afternoon and really made the experience feel special. A special nod to Juan for his great service and attention — it truly stood out. Beautiful atmosphere, great food, and such a fun holiday lunch experience. Highly recommend for both locals and visitors looking for a classic Palm Springs afternoon.
