The hostess was gracious enough to call when the party at our table was running a little behind. Once we arrived we were warmly greeted and we waited for our table with a beverage. Once at our table the evening kept getting better. Our waiter was wonderful! The food was excellent!!! The rest of the staff were kind, professional and fun. 100% recommend and will definitely go back.More infoComfort Kitchen$$$$• Global, International• Dorchester•4.9
- YYellowGreater Boston •3 reviews5.0Dined on May 9, 2026Of course! Here's a draft: We had an incredible dining experience at Hunter’s Kitchen and Bar. The food was absolutely outstanding—starting with the duck fat hush puppies, which were perfectly crispy on the outside, moist inside, and drenched in a decadent honey butter. The spicy chicken wings were delicious—packed with flavor, though not too spicy unless requested. The Southern skillet was the star of the show—a creamy gouda grits base topped with crispy hash browns, andouille sausage, and a perfectly cooked egg. Even though I couldn't try the Lambos gumbo (it was full of shrimp), my dining companion raved about it—rich, flavorful, and a standout. The atmosphere felt like a cozy lodge, with lots of wood and taxidermy, which really tied into the restaurant’s name. Our server, Nicole, was friendly and personable, and despite the crowd (it being Mother’s Day weekend), the service kept up just fine. I can’t wait to go back!More infoHunter's$$$$• Southern• South Boston•4.7
