- RRobertLondon •1 review4.0Dined 3 days agoWe had lunch there having never been before but I immediately thought after looking at the menu and great wine list that I would have ideally had dinner there as I think that thats when you would get the best out of what the Poet has to offer. Food was of a very high standard. Also great service which is hard to get these days, especially in the counties. I would definately go back there. I am pretty fussy where I spend money and have had the benefit of dining well over my lifetime so stay away from average. There are maybe 3 places I would go within a 20 mile radius of where I live and I think that the Poet is now on that list. Well done to them. Feels like a team that deserves recognition and support.More infoThe Poet at Matfield££££• Contemporary British• Tunbridge Wells•4.8

- LLuciaGoldLondon •10 reviews5.0Dined on Apr 19, 2026Lovely birthday lunch for my dad at The Brasserie. It was a Sunday so mum and I had roast beef, which was divine and the chef kindly made the crab linguine with no chilli for my dad. Attentive and friendly staff, warm welcome and it was buzzy but not noisy. The non alcoholic passion fruit martinis are delicious as well!More infoThe Brasserie££££• Contemporary British• Tunbridge Wells•4.1
- FCFranCLondon •1 review5.0Dined on Apr 9, 2022I cannot praise this place highly enough. It is a little hidden gem in the park. The service and food were outstanding and extremely reasonably priced. Cooked to perfection with lovely, fresh ingredients. Our waitress, Storm, was just wonderful. We had a lovely view of the terrace. I will definitely be going back. I said at the time I'm torn between recommending it constantly, and keeping quiet so that it remains just as is it!More infoThe Romney Restaurant££££• Contemporary British• Maidstone•3.6
