Carrie, the host, went out of her way to ensure an incredible experience while thoughtfully accommodating my dietary restrictions. Many high-end restaurants struggle when making substitutions, often compromising the flavor profile. Not Wofsbane. Kudos to Chef Rupert for knowing exactly how to keep every dish exciting and balanced, even with ingredient changes. The service was flawless — discreet, polished, and never overbearing. Dishes were whisked away seamlessly, the table reset after each course, and the pacing was perfect. Alex, the GM, and the entire waitstaff were warm, knowledgeable, and exceptionally professional. Picking a favorite dish was nearly impossible. The snacks — especially the edible artichoke “sunflowers” — were delightfully surprising. The nori sandwich accompanying the caviar course was unlike anything I’ve had before. The cabbage dish, hen, and scallops served inside a hollowed onion were stunning both visually and in flavor. Even the wagyu, despite my not being much of a red meat aficionado, cut like butter. And the geranium ice cream sandwiched between candied grape leaves was simply unforgettable. I would highly recommend either the tasting menu or the à la carte bar menu for a lighter experience. An incredible culinary feast and a truly unforgettable evening. Thank you to the entire staff!More infoWolfsbane$$$$• Californian• Potrero Hill / Dogpatch•4.8
