Best Contemporary French Restaurants in Blackheath, London

The only reason I did not give this amazing restaurant a 5 star review is the experience of leaving the restaurant. Having had an excellent initial experience to getting to the restaurant you are left to your own devices to get down. We found two other guests in the short lift saying it was the third time they had been to that floor and they had no idea how to get out. With the lifts not taking you all the way down or even an escalator it feels a poor experience to go out of the back stairs. James and the team did a fantastic job on the food, my dairy free alternative was so full of flavour. Tom and the front of house team are very attentive. Thanks

Outstanding experience and I have visited couple of times for business meals. Great on all aspects.

Absolutely wonderful menu and cooking. One of those meals that got better with every course - delicious starters, fabulous Chateaubriand and Bar en Croute, deserts - Millefeuille and Rhubarb Tart absolutely off the scale delicious. The most charming service, terrific wine list, we had a superb time at Pique Nique and look forward to returning.
