Best Contemporary Italian Restaurants in Nob Hill

A staple and for sure worth your money. Lots of dining options in SF, make sure Perbacco makes your short list.

An unexpected gem. We stopped in for a glass of wine on our way to another engagement and talked to the bar tender long enough to get a good overview. Food was very good, nice portion sizes (we split a couple of items). Nicely paced service.

The risotto with ribs was outstanding. The lasagna delicious and service impeccable! These guys are rockstars!!

The hot honey pizza was far and away our family’s favorite! We snagged a spot on the earlier side and it was perfect with our party of six including two young kids.

Dinner at Bosco was brilliant. I had the tuna carpaccio (vibrant and colorful and fresh) with buttermilk and hibiscus syrup, the grilled hangar steak with roasted potatoes, onions and mushrooms in a red wine jus ( I needed a slice of Kaili’s sourdough focaccia to mop up every drop of that savory jus) , and, for dessert, an amazing pear crostata with layers of pistachio and sweet potato , accompanied by malted vanilla ice cream. Chefs Ryan and Kaili just keep getting better, together with their team, who create a warm, welcoming and sophisticated experience. I’ll be back.
