Birthday meal for 6, 3 of whom were vegetarians with one also having a peanut allergy. From the get go everything was fantastic- to choosing our table, wine to our waitress Poppy looking after us so well. She made sure that foods were safe for the peanut allergy sufferer, definitely service with a smile. The food was so tasty & I love that there is a map on the menu showing where the food is sourced- the asparagus farm is less than a mile away. My lamb cutlets were tender & juicy, the steak cooked perfectly and the vegetarian burgers were declared a huge success. The celebration was topped off with a lovely plate for the birthday girl, with fruit, a yummy chocolate truffle & fudge square and Happy Birthday written in chocolate. This hotel is so beautiful & a short stroll around the grounds finished our visit beautifully. Can’t wait for our next visit!

Highly recommend this restaurant. Food was fabulous. We shared the Maharani Grill, so tasty & the fish/prawn pakoras were exceptional.Freshly cooked light naan breads came with it. Great value too-so much in the grill we had a meal from it the next day! Great service from friendly staff, & lovely to be looking over the canal. Surprised us with a birthday brownie (also delicious). Good selection of zero drinks.
