Best Farm To Table Restaurants in Basalt

This is our go-to restaurant any time we’re in the area. The food is incredible. Every meal begins with an amuse-bouche and fresh bread, main courses made with incredible ingredients that are fresh and seasonal, homemade pasta, and a homemade limoncello to finish the experience. My wife and I got the bolognese and the lobster ravioli along with a salad. Everything was perfect (SO much lobster in the lobster ravioli). Beyond the food, which, again, is delicious, the staff works hard to ensure an unforgettable experience. Steve has a laid-back attitude and “uniform,” which belies the care and effort he puts into creating a space where all feel welcome. He checks in with every table at least twice, and he appears to know everyone who walks through the doors. The whole staff mirrors that hospitality and care, and they take pride in the details. We love the balance of upscale food with laid back mountain vibes. It’s one of our favorite places anywhere.

Out server Sophie was outstanding. We really enjoyed the entrees, trout / halibut / chicken - and the desserts were out of this world good. It was a beautiful early evening, so the views were amazing as always.

A return visit for me. 3 years ago had one of the best meals I’d ever had with superb service (Chris) and outstanding food and beautiful views. It was just as wonderful this time.
