- JJanetGreater Boston •2 reviews5.0Dined on May 10, 2026We all had so much fun sitting on the patio watching the people go by. It was a bit noisy from the traffic but it was a really nice warm sunny day and it was good to be outside! The food was great. The service was great! What more could you ask for! Oh, I know! Well behaved pups are welcome on the deck! We'll be back - thank you!More infoNamastey Patio$$$$• Indian• Oakland•4.9
- VVivianGoldSan Francisco Bay Area •14 reviews4.0Dined on Jan 10, 2026It had been years since we last dined at Taste of Himalayas in Berkeley, and we were happy to find that some of our favorite dishes were just as delicious as we remembered. The chicken vindaloo and shrimp vindaloo were both excellent, served warm and flavorful with the right balance of protein and potatoes in the rich vindaloo sauce. The plain naan and garlic naan were also a great addition, pairing well with our meals. The only downside was the lentil soup, which tasted a bit watered down and was prepared a bit differently from what we remembered from years ago. That said, overall the experience was still very enjoyable, and we would recommend Taste of Himalayas in Berkeley to anyone who hasn’t tried it yet.More infoTaste of the Himalayas$$$$• Indian• Berkeley•4
- EEatwell4lifeSan Francisco Bay Area •12 reviews4.0Dined on May 22, 2017I had lunch there and the food and service were excellent. I prefer mildly spicy and it was just right. Prices were very reasonable for lunch. A nice addition to the neighborhood! The naan was super good and had a nice garlic flavor.More infoMehak Indian Cuisine$$$$• Indian• Berkeley•3.8
