    Chefs, waitresses, waiters, foods, interiors, everything was WONDERFUL!! Some sushi restaurants don’t have Japanese chefs. It is nice to see couple of Japanese chefs in the bar especially I am a Japanese. We visited from other state. I wish I could have wonderful Japanese restaurants like this.

    Uchiko was very impressive. I've heard about them from friends, articles, and general word of mouth. And I have to say, I was skeptical coming in if it was overhyped. But the experience was incredible, top to bottom. For me, the most impressive thing was the happy hour options available. Some of the pricing on the food and especially cocktails was mind blowing. Incredible value. Highly recommend happy hour if you are looking for bang for your buck. The standard menu was very intentional, and balanced. Amazing options coming from the "hearth" their smoke/cooked options. Sushi was great, standouts for me are definitely the madai nigiri, and the gyutoro (72 hour sous vide Australian Wagyu) the Denver steak is also incredible with some of the best fries I've ever had(cooked in dehydrated beef tallow) Coming from a Japanese restaurant too which is fitting; the Japanese always perfect everything :) Service was incredible, Alex our server was very friendly, genuine, and knowledgeable. Steps of service were executed very well, with clearing, presenting new dishes, refilling waters, etc. Thank you to the team at uchiko in cherry creek, we will be back!
