    My wife and I are Edinburgh residents, so make only occasional visits to Newcastle, but when we do and want to celebrate a special occasion, Dobson and Parnell on the Quayside is one of the first places we think of. On Thursday we booked it for lunch to celebrate a family member's birthday, and it did not disappoint! As always, the service and the food were excellent, and we love the ambience - and the location. After lunch we had a very pleasant walk along the Quayside.

    Beautiful little restaurant with a very relaxing ambiance and a great play list. Knowledgeable and friendly service that enhances the experience greatly. We were on our second visit and the really interesting menu, quality of ingredients and outstandingly clever cooking was again exceptional. 52 day aged wagyu! We were totally spoiled, thank you so much for a wonderful dinner.

    A fabulous experience with some of the best food we've ever eaten in a friendly atmosphere with very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly staff the food was amazing and you definitely get what you pay for . Can't wait to go back.
