Best Modern European Restaurants in Heysham

We had the most fantastic experience at The Box Tree following our wedding day the day before our booking. We were warmly greeted and taken for a drink in the bar area, once ready we were escorted to our table and found a lovely card congratulating us on our big day. A thoughtful and generous touch. Throughout our experience the staff were phenomenal and attentive, keeping glasses filled, napkins folded and ambiance in order. The food. We have no words other than, incredible. The Box Tree was a beautiful experience and we would love to return!

From the moment we arrived until we left the experience was second to none. Lovely views from the patio. Beautiful room. Outstanding meal, excellent friendly staff. Great nights sleep. Delicious breakfast. Would highly recommend to anyone. Would love to come back again. Thank to everyone for our amazing stay .

The food was very good, I had a chicken & oyster mushroom pie which I have to say was excellent the pastry was light and the filling delicious I really enjoyed my meal, my friend had the lamb with roast potatoes and veg it was very nice and although we didn’t have a starter or dessert we had coffee it was an excellent meal and the price was good as well, the service was crisp and the servers were very polite All in all a very pleasant visit prior to our theatre trip.
