Best Oyster Bars in Castroville

Oysters were very good and I really liked that they had sampler plate to try all the different oysters that were available at the restaurant and our waiter was very nice too. I’d come back again for when oyster season starts!

I took my parents to Eddie V's in Stone Oak this past Friday afternoon, and they were absolutely blown away. The food was outstanding, but what really made the experience memorable was the level of hospitality. John was our server, and he was attentive from start to finish. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and made great recommendations that everyone enjoyed. Mike, the manager, also stopped by our table and shared a few stories from his 11+ years with the restaurant. You can tell he genuinely cares about the guests' experience and takes pride in what they do. This wasn't my first visit, and it's exactly why I keep coming back. Between the exceptional service, amazing food, and welcoming atmosphere, Eddie V's continues to set the standard for a great dining experience. If you're looking for a place to celebrate a special occasion or simply enjoy an incredible meal, I can't recommend this location enough.

First time here. Everything was phenomenal. Will definitely be visiting again.

It was delicious 😋 as usual! We've been here many times and it never disappoints. The service was a bit slow or maybe we are not used to taking our time with a meal. Either way our food came out piping hot and fresh.

A great spot to have a cigar and beverage while watching the Riverwalk foot traffic.
