Best Pizzerias in Portola Valley

Planned a lunch celebration here with my adult children. Made a reservation. We arrived staggered, table was ready with a reserved sign. Menus ready to go. More than 1/2 the group was running late, the staff was unbothered by it, they were attentive when we needed something but casually waited for our group...no pressure. Pizzas, spaghetti, calamari, Foccacia and Brussel sprouts and a few drinks later we were all full and commenting on how delicious everything was. We raved about the pasta! The bill was exceptionally reasonable! I will be returning...often!!

This is my favorite restaurant. The taste is superb. The service is exceptional. The price is reasonable for what you get. I love their small plates because i get to taste so many dishes. Indoor noise can be loud in the winter when the doors are closed and at 75 i have a problem with that, but i always try to get an outside table on the street where noise is reasonable, and i enjoy watching people walk by.

The food is excellent and delicious. And our server was attentive, knowledgeable, and made excellent suggestions. The overall dining experience was pleasant and the service was exceptional.

We had a great family dinner made most enjoyable by the accommodating staff members. They were attentive, patient, and most of all helpful. We found the meatball appetizer tasty - firm yet tender meat with a moderately spicy red sauce. The pepper fries appetizer was just ok. We wish the crostini was another standalone option. Pizza was great as was the pappardelle. The salmon spiedini skewer is a great add on to the Caesar salad and as an entree as well. Best thing on the menu. All-in-all a pleasant experience worth doing again.

Always great to come back to comfort food ! I Don’t really recommend the shrimp Scampi pasta as It was too bland. But the lasagna was great!!! The salads were great also! The service was excellent! Come and try for yourself … you will be a happy camper 😊
