- LLisaGoldGreater Boston •11 reviews5.0Dined on May 15, 2026Wonderful dinner at @Dotty’s kitchen and raw Bar tonight. I love everything about this place. The servers are super friendly and knowledgeable, the hosts greet you at the door like an old friend, the fun menu has something for just about everyone, even if seafood isn’t your thing. We started with a dozen oysters- Prince Caspians, Island Creeks, and Kumamotos, all served ice cold with mignonette, cocktail sauce and horseradish- we added a caviar bump to go with the ice cold vodka (honestly we could’ve done 2 bumps, but we know for next time). They have a great selection of tinned fish with all the accompaniments. I really wanted the Galician octopus, but I thought I’d have to skip my dinner. (Not likely, but I’ve seen me do it on occasion). I opted for the little necks with chorizo and I got a side of fries to go with/ I even asked for extra bread because my dining partner got cod in a killer broth and I’d hate myself if he had nothing to dunk into it. Clams were fresh and perfectly cooked- the chorizo was nice and smoky and the broth was absolutely on point. The fries were hot and crispy and served with a malt vinegar aioli because I’m a mayo/malt vinegar girlie/ so honestly they saved me a step. 😜 He got the cod in a coconut broth with mussels and ate very bit, and took my bread to get every last drop. (See? It’s always nice to plan ahead). We got 2 nice pours of Sancerre that wasn’t even on the menu for whatever reason but it was delicious and went well with our dishes. For dessert, I got a key lime trifle that was perfectly sized, super tart, creamy and refreshing. He got an espresso martini and- joy of joys- a root beer float. Because now we’re grown up and have grown up money, we can get a root beer float and a boozy dessert and no one can tell us otherwise. Oh, and the straw for the float was pretty wide, which is thoughtful when you think about having to suck up vanilla ice cream through a standard issue straw.More infoDotty's Kitchen & Raw Bar$$$$• Seafood• Quincy•4.9

The Hostess, whose name I do not remember because I am old, was great and she came and checked on how we were doing a number of times during our stay. We really enjoy our visits to this one of the Legal Sea Foods locations. Jack O’TooleMore infoLegal Sea Foods – Hingham$$$$• Seafood• Hingham•4.5
